Zulay Kitchen is named after my extraordinary mother, Zulay. As a single mother in poverty-stricken Venezuela she worked extra long hours yet, still found time to cook healthy meals for her kids.
At the time, I thought nothing of it. Now that I’m married with children, I see how much of a superhero my mom really was.

Decided to ditch the old rubber utensils 🥄 for a healthier option!
I didn’t even know these were an option until I saw an article about trying to keep the microplastics out of our food! I decided to give this option a try and I don’t plan on turning back!I was not sure about the ability of this material to work well in a skillet or to break up meat, etc. But I am pleasantly surprised at how well these work for cooking and serving! I had kept my older rubber ones in case I didn’t like these and now that I’ve been using them for over a month I plan on sticking with them permanently. The old ones are being tossed!!Pros:- packed well and arrived quickly- wash well in the dishwasher- great for use when cooking in a skillet or just serving dishes- healthier option than rubber and plastic utensils- have not had any trouble with them being heat resistant so far- easy to store in a drawer or a utensil jar- they feel thick enough to be sturdy but not too thick that they can’t flip items in a panCons:- I haven’t found anything yet. The only thing is that I’m mad I only bought a set of six! I will likely get rid of any last plastic utensils and switch permanently to these!If you are hesitant like me don’t be! I’m happy I made the switch … they even make my kitchen look a little more stylish with their wooden minimalism look!

Outstanding company and beautiful wooden utensils
This is a beautiful set of wooden utensils. In my original order, all of the utensils had a reddish tone except for the salad fork. I left a 2 star review and the company contacted me and sent a replacement salad fork that matches the other utensils. They stand by their product and I am thankful to have matching salad utensils as these utensils are truly beautiful. I am impressed that they stand by their products and wanted to make it right. Will definitely order from them again.

Sturdy and pretty
Really like these. Swapped out plastic utensils for this set and happy with them. Spoons have a shorter handle and I wish they were longer, otherwise they are perfect

Expensive without ruining your pocket
This set of 6 teak wood kitchen utensils looks so good. They look very sturdy and durable indicating they are made out of strong materials. I’m very impressed with this purchase. I will be testing it out and giving some updates.

We use daily, they last about a year maybe two. They are starting to crack but all and all not bad quality. Would buy again

Beautiful Set
This is a beautiful and high-quality set. I had previously ordered a different brand from Amazon trying to save a few dollars, but don’t save a few dollars just splurge and order this brand because the quality is good and it is very aesthetically pleasing to leave on top of my counter! The edges are smooth, and there’s no splintering or roughness to any of the pieces.

La cuchara que se ve con una parte más clara se quedó así después de estar unos 3 minutos dentro de un guisado, o sea el tinte oscuro que tenía salió, un peligro para la salud, he tenido que tirar la comida a la basura. No compren este tipo de producto que si es bonito pero no es saludable.
