I just bought four of these little cameras in the last month. They are very reasonably priced and I was afraid they wouldn’t be of good quality. I was wrong. The pictures are clear, the colors are crisp. The app is easy to use and has many useful functions and options for settings. The whole set up of cameras and app took about 5 minutes each. They are very responsive to movement and sound and you can adjust the sensitivity. I like that you can set a “detection zone” if you want to cut down on extraneous detections, so instead of monitoring the entire front yard I can just set it to detect if someone actually comes onto my porch if I want. I like that I can also hear what’s outside when in the live mode (and speak to someone outside). The siren, microphone and spotlight work very well. You can set it to make an audible “WYZE” tone outside if it detects someone OR to let them know they are being recorded. I actually have a couple of mine sitting on outside window ledges with the cord coming in under the window to plug in. The cords are flat so it works. The others are mounted outside near outlets and they came with what you need to mount them. I’m not paying for the iCloud storage for the videos because I don’t need it. And since I’m not doing the advanced monitoring there are functions that I don’t get. But that is ok for me right now. Overall, I’m very happy with them. Considering getting one more. You can look back through the recording and they are marked where there were sound/movement detections. My only negative is that you can look back at the video on the app in 30 second increments rather than actually “scrolling” so you could miss something that wasn’t detected. If I take the SIM card out and put it in my laptop I can do more of a “scroll”. I have had a few episodes of verified movements that weren’t detected/notified/marked on the video but nothing big. That aside, I highly recommend. And I’ll add that 10 days after getting these one of my cameras recorded a neighbor’s trailer being stolen. So while I didn’t have the alarm/notification set to go off overnight on that particular camera I was able to give them the footage which they say has been helpful.

The Wyze OG Camera really exceeded my expectations. For such an affordable price, it delivers clear 1080p video, even at night thanks to the strong night vision. Setup was quick and easy through the Wyze app, and I love how responsive the motion alerts are.The live view loads fast, and the audio quality is surprisingly good for a camera in this price range. Great cameras overall, for sure, highly recommend, a few caveats, but overall they work great
These cameras are super awesome but I think four stars is fair considering 7/8 of them work. I don’t know what is up with the 8th one but it keeps disconnecting, like, it’s never connected even after I reconnect it and it seems to work, even after I moved it closer to the WiFi signal. Other than that they are super awesome and I recommend them highly, just make sure they work fully before the return period ends. I mean awesome the app is super awesome, I bought 8, my friend gave me a different model and she has a few and we can view them all together in the same interface and zoom in and you can talk to your cats if you want to – sound quality is pretty bad actually, but they do work for that. You can use them without a service too, they’ll try and sell you an upgraded service like to view event videos or something but the basic free features are fine for my use.Here’s another reason I like these so much: simplicity. You need a smart phone and WiFi and a wall outlet to make them work, it just takes a couple minutes to use the phone to connect the camera to the WiFi and then you can look through the camera, and listen and talk through it!I think there’s a way to set up alerts and I think if you put a microSD card in it you could record stuff, don’t quote me on those last two – a different model by Wyze I know for a fact has those features, this one I’m not positive but I think they can do both of those things.

Reasons to get this cam!!!!!
I have Cam Protect on 4 of these cams which mean I can hold a button to dispatch police to my house in the case something happens, I have a siren on this cam, I get live alerts, I have playback which means I can look and see all events that happened this day and not to mention look how crisp this pic is…..yall better stop playing and RUN and grab one of these cams….matter of fact GRAB A FEW!!!! The subscription plans are not expensive at all you really get a bang for your buck….GRAB ONE TODAY!!! I love my Wyze cams

These are great little cameras. Even those these ones aren’t rated for outdoors I have used two outdoora for years now with no issues even in Canadas cold. There is a subscription to access all features but you can just throw in an SD card for constant recording. You just miss out on notifications and detection. I usually wait and get the subscription on sale it’s usually worth it.

Son muy buenas cámaras, el ángulo es muy amplio y tiene una imagen muy limpia, la aplicación es muy sencilla pero práctica, el único punto negativo pero corregible es el guardado de videos en la SD, use 2 diferentes adata y jamas las leyó y cuendo compré las de su marca funcionaron sim problema.
