The Winees WiFi Water Leak Detector (3 Pack) has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for home protection. I’ve had a recurring issue with what looks like an overflow pipe in my garage, which connects to the upstairs bathrooms. Every so often, when the pipes clog, raw sewage from the toilets backs up and spews out into the garage — an absolute nightmare.Thanks to this water leak detector, I now get instant notifications via the app, email, and SMS the moment it detects moisture. The last time the overflow happened, I was notified immediately, and I was able to shut off the water and call a plumber before the mess got out of control. That alone saved me hundreds of dollars in cleanup costs and possible damage.Setup was super easy — the sensors come pre-paired with the hub, and everything connected to my 2.4G WiFi in minutes. The 200-meter range is more than enough for my garage and basement. The hub provides a loud alarm which can be heard across multiple stories in the house, even at night. The hub can be silenced by remote access or by touch, a nice feature to quash the noise once you responded. The hub does require an outlet and will interfere with access to second outlet if plugged directly into standard wall outlet.Connecting the hub to WIFI was simple and effective on first try. Remote sensors mated with hub nearly automatically so entire system was up and running in minutes. Sensors triggered by small amount of moisture so any leak will be caught quickly but without false alarms.AiDot app is effective and easy to use. Notices via email and message center provide notification and not sure if SMS messaging is available. More exploration and experimentation needed to fully appreciate AiDot full functionality I have not tried to connect to any other smart home app, such as Alexa, but the feature is available. The company has been responsive to my inquiries with support phone and chat available.I cannot speak to the hardiness and longevity of the devices as I have not had them in service for very long. I like that other AiDot compatible devices are available so it is not a single trick pony. The test will be if feature generations of app remains backward-compatible so new additions don’t require replacement of current products.

These water leak detectors work great. We tested them and the alarm sounded as it’s supposed to. After 3 previous leaks (that caused damage) while away, it’s nice to have peace of mind that we’ll be notified if/when it ever happens again.

So easy to set-up Works like a charm
Simple to set up and works like a charm! Easy to use app is helpful too. I labeled each of mine as you want to know which area has a leak when you receive notification on your phone. I have some in the basement and the wifi is able to communicate with each one. I ended up buying more they work so well!

Helpful and easy
We were experiencing leaks under our house that were going undetected for days. This was easy to set up and place under the house. It is extremely effective to let you know there is a leak when you are home. I wish it had the capability to alert your phone when you are not at home but it does serve its purpose well.
