Great lock, challenging app setup
Works great. Install was easy. This is the second one I have purchased. Once installed I had the same problem with the setup (open left/right) as I did on the first. I found there is a manual toggle switch on the inside part that I had to set the other direction than the factory setting on both to get it to work. At first the lock would only lock/unlock with the app and only lock using other methods. After waiting a few minutes and toggling the manual switch, the other methods, code, fingerprint and key fob worked. Not sure exactly what was going on, but I spent most of the install time getting it to work with the left/right settings via the toggle switch and app settings. Once I got it set, it works great.The app is mainly for setup but it could be improved. For example, it doesn’t tell you if the door is locked or unlock. It just gives you an icon to lock/unlock. The history “record” doesn’t include manual lock/unlock so you can’t check it to see if it was locked. I know they sell a hub which might give status. The lock itself doesn’t connect to your internet so you can only use the lock app when nearby with your phone unless you have the hub (assuming as I don’t have the hub).

Product works great and installation was easy. We use it may ways with the key, fob, finger and code. Great for dog sitter because i can give her a special code and can schedule start and end date. Prior keycode lock we would always ask each other did you lock the door, and then turn around and go back to check, One weekend we went away and left the house unlock which made me purchase this lock since it automatically locks after set time. Great customer service support answering my questions and must acknowledge Aaron support in helping me solving my question, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with…Thanks again Aaron

Great Product, But even more importantly GREAT Service.
I was impressed with these locks, they did what they claimed to do and really helped simplify keeping my house locked up. I have 4 of these units, and love how they integrate into my alexia routines. I was also impressed that the batteries have lasted well over a year and are still going strong. The feature that allows you have multiple fingerprints, and I get an alert – not only that a door was opened, but which fingerprint opened it – adds to the secure feeling.One of my biometric scanners stopped working recently, and even though the warranty window had passed, they were gracious enough to send me a replacement. It seems to be increasingly rear to purchase a product that exceeds your expectations, and even rarer when you deal with a company with exemplary customer service.

Great BUT fingerprint scanner problematic
We love this lock, it has a physical key, digital tags, passcode, and fingerprint options. You can remote unlock/lock as well and it works great but lately the fingerprint scanner has gone from inconsistent to completely inoperable. Contacting support and will update…

Unreliable and Dangerous – Do Not Buy This Smart Lock!

MINE IS THE LIVED EXPERIENCE OF ALMOST TWO YEARS.I purchased the Veise RZ07 Smart Lock, Fingerprint Door Lock (7-in-1 Keyless Entry with App Control, Electronic Touchscreen Keypad Deadbolt, Biometric, Matte Black) along with the Veise G2 Gateway for remote control compatibility with DD Lock and TT Lock apps. At first, we loved the concept and convenience of this smart lock system. The features seemed impressive, and the ability to operate it remotely was a big selling point for us.However, the lock lasted less than two years with the lock. A couple weeks ago on Friday, the lock started malfunctioning. The keypad, fingerprint scanner, and remote locking features all stopped working properly, and it would randomly make beeping noises. I attempted to troubleshoot it with the app, some videos on YouTube, and tutorials, but I got nowhere. Then, on Sunday morning, as we were locking the door, the mechanism completely broke. The key got stuck, and after much effort, we managed to wiggle it out, only to find the locking mechanism was stuck upside down.We left the house for a couple of hours, and when we returned, we were completely locked out. No amount of troubleshooting or app control could get us back in. We had to call a locksmith on a Sunday, which cost us over $300 just to regain access to our own home. He had to drill the lock out, it was the only way in. The locksmith even shared that he recently helped another customer—a woman who was locked inside her house because of a similar lock malfunction. This is not just inconvenient; it’s a serious safety hazard.I strongly advise against wasting your money on this cheap, imported lock. If you’re looking for a reliable deadbolt, stick with a standard, non-smart option. If you absolutely need smart technology, invest in a higher-grade lock from a reputable brand that won’t leave you locked out—or worse, locked in. This product is a gamble with your security and peace of mind. I regret this purchase and hope my experience saves others from the same frustration and expense.

Quality item, has all the options for passcodes, fingerprints, RF IDs, app..
Very easy to install. Has a lot of features in the app and multiple ways of unlocking. Fingerprints are quick to open door. Exceeded my expectations overall. It’s great that you can program multiple passcodes that are either permanent or with a certain validity. Also one time passcodes supported. I’m thinking of buying the another for our garage side door.
