Keeps the house cool.
I went to Arizona to visit family for a week, and the room was really hot. I don’t know if they’re used to the 100°F (about 37°C) weather, or if the AC was just set too high, but I was sweating to death. So I had to do something, and I didn’t want to spend too much money, so I bought this little guy. It’s much smaller than I expected, but considering how hot it was all day, I was grateful for this little thing. I added some cold water and a few ice cubes, turned it on, and it blew out some cool air, which was a relief. I didn’t expect much, and of course, it’s not something that will cool down the whole house, but sitting next to it is definitely better than just a regular fan. It was a lifesaver for me!

seems to cool my bedroom
Ok so brought this because my partner is pregnant and our bedroom gets hot and with the mega heatwave coming thought this would help.It is easy to use. I have found as most reviews have said to put the filter in water then freeze before use and just use ice cubes in the Tray instead of water it does help.The room has felt colder but the temp was up, but the hudmity was up as well from 32percent to 45.Because that’s what is does sitting next to it you do feel the cold than you would a fan.If you want to cool the room down spend 500 on a Air con unit is the truthful matter. But this is handy and we are going away soon so be handy to leave in the room putting moister into the air.

I live upstairs in an old house, so the AC isn’t great. I bought this to take with me to outdoor activities in the summer and also to help circulate the air upstairs. I’m not a fan of window AC units, so this feels like the perfect solution. I placed it by my bed, and it works great! Just add water up to the fill line, and you can set it to turn on or off after 1, 3, or 6 hours, or let it run and it will automatically shut off after 12 hours. The temperature here is around 80°F right now, so once the weather gets warmer, I may upgrade to a larger model and only use this one for outdoor activities.

Take account of the fan power, I sadly missed that out of desperation of the heat that I am in.
Does not really cool or feel enough to cool myself or the room, (my room is not a big room 65.694 ft) , so when other reviews meant on cooling rooms of an office or bedroom, I believed that it would cool a room that of course would not be as big as their and maybe even work better. However, after of course getting the recommended adapter counter using its provided cord, soaked the filter with cold water and refrigerated, aslso but water and freezes the “ice box”, and filled the bottom to its line with cold water, left it for about minimum 2 to 3 hours, it only did milled cooling to my body than it weakens and had to move the flaps up and down to get air or I barely get any and yes I did start from low to medium than to high all just so I can get the “cooling affect”.

The coolest little cooler!
I don’t understand why there are negative reviews about the temperature; this isn’t meant to be an air conditioner for the whole room. It’s actually an evaporative cooler, basically just a fan. If you have the fan on the highest setting and it’s blowing right by your face, the noise might be a bit much, but if that bothers you, it has low and medium fan settings as well.I have a temperature gun, and I tested the temperatures before and after the device. The temperature in front of the unit is always 4-5 degrees cooler, which is pretty good for such a small device. I just got it about an hour ago, so if it stops working, I’ll update my review, but for now, it’s a five-star product.
