Whimsical Kitty Lives In The Spatula Drawer
We love ours so much, we had to order more for gifts and share the joy. We bought it as a cute novelty, but it’s actually a pretty useful little spatula. The tale is just flexible enough to make spreading a breeze, and it’s a good width – wider than a knife, but narrower than a bowl scraper – to get just the right amount of whatever you’re spreading. We haven’t used it as a jar scraper so far. The bend in the tail make it look like it would be good for that purpose, but probably for shorter jars. You’re hand will still get messy if you try to scrape the bottom of your glutton-sized mayonnaise.We like the cute items from this company. The whimsy is what sells them, but they’re actually practical.

What’s not to like, it’s a spatula that can get in there and get the last of that ingredient, if it’s peanut that needs to be stirred or butter, or jelly, or mayo. Easy to clean and durable.

Bought it for my dad because he’s obsessed with peanut butter and he was so shocked and excited that it works. He has it stored off somewhere so that nobody else uses it lol.

2/24/25:The vendor saw my review and refunded my account for this purchase and now I feel a little ashamed for my criticism. After all, I read the listing and should have known how long the thing is. I’m bumping this up one star, I’d do more but I frequently look at 4-star reviews to see what annoys people and then make up my own mind from their description.So let me add some detail: the thing is perfect for jars in the 8-10oz range like for salsa. In fact it would be good for any jar with a wide mouth that can accommodate your fingers. The trouble comes with larger jars like for spaghetti sauce where the mouth is smaller and the jar nearly twice as tall. That was my exact case that triggered my review.original review:It’s too short to reach into jars without getting your fingers in there too. I don’t hate it but It’s annoying. It should be 4 inches longer.

My daughter is in the kitchen alot and loves to get items with cats on them.
My daughter has a cat and now uses this item as her spoon to take out the cat food from her can. Its flexible and easy to clean too. She loves that the handle is shaped like a cat and the tail is the scooper.

Does a good job of getting out almost all of your contents in a jar (peanut butter, mayo, Renee’s salad dressing) that you would otherwise throw away, leaving very little waste.
