Love this thing!! It’s so cute…As to its function? – it works well for liquids or “heavy” grained dry items, such as sugar.I don’t think it’d work well for any type of dry powdery items… the “stem” is too narrow to allow them to pass through efficiently.I haven’t run it through the dishwasher yet – so I can’t speak to how well it’d handle that…

Double Duty – A Bowl As Well As A Funnel
Flip the funnel out of its funnel configuration and it works as a bowl to hold (in this case) alcohol wipettes. I think the larger Ototo Mushroom funnel could double up as a sugar packet holder.

Cute funnel, but needs breathing room for flow
This is a great funnel and very cute, too! I really like it, but sometimes the flow is slow or choppy. :)Flow rate:I have noticed that some liquids, such as oil have a harder time funneling down if you leave the funnel in the lid and just pour, but if you slightly lift the funnel, then it drains really well. I guess it just need an air pocket sometimes.

Un piccolo capolavoro da cucina! Questo imbuto di silicone a forma di fungo è talmente carino che quasi ti dispiace usarlo. Funziona benissimo, non scivola, non si piega e, soprattutto, fa ridere ogni volta che lo tiri fuori dal cassetto. È come avere un aiutante dei boschi in cucina.

I think this is the cutest thing in my kitchen and is great for thin liquids but rubbish for thick liquids like honey. I bought this for the intention of decanting honey into a bottle and the spout is too small. Now using it for a different purpose and it does well.
