Was absolutely shocked at sturdiness, yet lightness
This is perfect for dorms or if you know you’re going to have to move and dread heavy furniture. They were really hard to put together because you have to push those sharp little hollow rods into the holes in the plastic, and definitely use the mallet that comes with it! But once it’s built, I was absolutely shocked at the sturdiness. I could pick the whole thing up with one finger, but it held all my standard 11 by 11 cubes. Then, the cats chased each other up onto the top, fighting and fur flying. I bit my fingers and fretted they’d tear it apart. Nope. Held up just find with both cats going at each other like their fur was on fire. Dang! Where was this when I was in college??

Loved it so much I bought it twice!
Such a great product for the price. It’s not the most sturdy, but for my use to organize supplies and canvases in my studio it’s perfect. I wouldn’t recommend using in a room with small children or cats that might try climbing it, bc if it gets handled roughly it would eventually fall apart (but be very easily fixed.) What I love about it is how lightweight it is for the size, and how much stuff it can hold. You can assemble the whole thing and easily lift it by yourself with zero straining, move it around, assemble it in different arrangements, etc. It’s so functional and handy. Yes, the shelves are made of fabric, but that makes it light and affordable. I have no complaints!

After purchasing both the 12-cube and 18-cube sets for different rooms in my home, I’ve had a solid opportunity to test out the Mavivegue DIY Bookcase in real-world use. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:AssemblyPutting these units together is fairly straightforward, though a bit time-consuming. Each piece clicks into place with relative ease, and the instructions are clear enough for a DIY beginner. That said, patience is key—the process takes time, especially with the larger 18-cube version.Build QualityOnce assembled, the bookcases feel surprisingly sturdy. The metal poles add a reassuring level of support and structure, especially compared to similar cube organizers made of plastic or thinner materials. I’ve placed heavier items inside and on top of the units without any sagging or instability. While it’s not made for excessive weight, it certainly outperforms many other modular storage systems in this category.Design & PracticalityThe minimalist black cubicle design fits in well with most modern decor styles. Whether in a bedroom, living room, office, or closet, it adds a neat, organized look to any space. The modular nature of the cubes also offers flexibility—you can customize the layout a bit depending on your needs.Things to NoteOne thing to keep in mind: once it’s built, don’t expect to move it around like a solid wood shelf. If you do need to relocate it, make sure to grab it from both ends. Absolutely worth it!
YES!!!This product is awesome!I bought 2 sets of these in white. I liked the 20 count cube system for what I need additional organization and storage for. It comes with simple enough instructions and pictures with 4 different configuration ideas, but it is really limitless depending on your experience and understanding of assemblage with the given pieces. Also, there are a few extra pieces depending on the orientation with which you choose to set it up. Like I said, I bought 2 and have one configured to a full 5×4 20 cube set up for my closet storage and one configured to a 3×4 and 2×2 cube set for my office space storage areas. This product is sturdy, light weight, and adjustable. It also comes with wall mount things to keep it from leaning or tilting forward. Love that!It suits various items and fits to spaces according to my desired use. I can also appreciate the WARNING in the instructions about the SHARPNESS of the ends of the metal tubing! Obviously, it can cut you relatively easily, but they send it with a wooden mallet for safety and help in assembling. I recognize their concern for safety. I could appreciate that as well.Essentially, I would TOTALLY buy these again. It works well for my home needs and I think the pricepoint is great. Absolutely well worth it! Highly recommend!

Not the most sturdiest thing in the world but definitely a good product for what you pay. Wasnt sure when I got it if it was going to be strong enough for books but so far so good. Takes a while to assemble, be sure to double check instructions, but a great option if you are looking for some organization options that are completely affordable. Check size before ordering, was bigger than I expected. Totally worth it.

The idea of it is really great but for some reason they keep coming out of the holes that they’re supposed to be steady in and mine came with missing poles so I don’t really know. Not as sturdy
