Cleans well, but even more importantly, cleans UP well
I am really impressed with this carpet cleaner. Not only does it do the job of cleaning, but a lot of reasonable thought has gone into how this is going to be used, and how the end user needs to interact with it.First, assembly is a breeze; I had it up and running 10 minutes after it arrived. You need a Philips head screwdriver for two screws and that’s it.Second: it really cleans well. I emptied several tanks of nasty brown water from carpets that looked pretty clean to the eye. The included shampoo has a pleasant odor that dissipates quickly as it dries. The suction is really good, although you will want to take your time and watch whether water is still coming up before you stop, which is easy, because they made the waste water tank clear and gave you a straight shot to see where the water being pulled out of the carpet is coming up into the tank. My low pile wool carpets were dry to the touch 3-4 hours after being cleaned; my deep fiber nylon carpet is taking a bit longer.Third: the entire assembly cleans up really well. Every bit of this device that handles water, especially the waste water, comes apart easily and smoothly so it can be cleaned. I was incredibly impressed. The only wet part you can’t get to are the lines that run the cleaner or the rinse water to the head of the vacuum. That should be fine, since they shouldn’t be in contact with waste. But the entire suction head of the device lifts away with a single release lever, the waste tank splits in half, with enough access to get to all parts of it, and the filters are all easy access. This is wonderful, because a thorough cleaning and drying after use is how you prevent mildew, which is the bane of any cleaning device that uses water.It is not a light piece of equipment, but that is actually a good thing. The head stays down no matter how far away from yourself you push it, which is good when you are trying to reach a place but you don’t want to step in the wet carpet you just shampooed. I had the best of intentions of planning out my cleaning pattern, but inevitably there was a bit that go left out, or needed another run to help dry it, and it is nice that the weight of the head stays down so that it maintains suction at all times. It is also pretty big — it is bigger than any other cleaning device in my home. If you live in a small apartment, say with just one closet to store your regular vacuum cleaner, mop, and other things, this beast is going to evict everything else. And you can’t let that happen — you do need to vacuum your carpets before you use this guy — it uses very narrow suction to get the water back out of your carpet, so if you have long pet hair, long human hair, heavy dirt, or similar, it could clog it up. While it does clean out nicely, its going to be a long day if you have to stop every 5 minutes to remove a wet lump of afghan hound hair.And a final tip: when you go to remove the tanks, or when you are starting to clean it so you can put it away, I recommend moving to a hard surface, like kitchen tile. It uses water, it is going to leak some of that water when you take it apart. The waste water tank doesn’t leak, but there is likely to be a little bit of dirty water that comes back out of the nozzle. And there is going to be a little clean water where the clean water tank sits. I found I could handle everything with just one-half of a paper towel, so it is pretty minor. But better and easier on tile than on your freshly cleaned carpet.

I need to spot clean three bedroom carpets. The carpets are light brown and five years old. One room has cats. One room had a mentally ill son and the other my spouse who is cat averse and messy. I cannot particularly afford a person to clean the rugs and due to cat vomiting I need a way at two AM to clean up. A spot cleaning.So the price was a third off and I decided to give this a try. I’ve assembled -which took almost nothing and cleaned two rooms. First report-it did great.I got burned by a leaking hand held Bissell, so this was great because it took up a lot of the dirt. That’s something that I couldn’t handle in my son’s room. Areas he walked in had tracks and oil stain. He would wear these old boots and had oil from a shop floor he worked in and no ability to remove boots I guess. That’s looking pretty good.now. No not perfect but far beyond my expectations. I did go over it for a long time on shampoo and rinse. The vacuum allows you to switch between rinse and clean. So you can really get to business with great suction. I am extremely sure no cleaning person would work on that rug for hours. But I now can.I’m going to store in my laundry room. Yes, it’s very easy to clean up and I feel confident I can use this to make my house look much better over the next month. I’d say a very good purchase and the discount from Amazon was a good one. I have only had this machine for two days but wow, it’s amazing! I have a two old dogs and I had a bissel cleaner that I have been using daily. A part broke so I was debating getting a $40 part to fix it or buy this for $150. I’m glad I bought this. It’s about 10 x better than the bissel cleaner. It didn’t take long to put together. Just had to have a screw diver. Works amazingly well. The bissel would clog up all the time, this seems so well made it hasn’t clogged up once and I have used it about 5 times in 2 days. It’s easy to empty the water and fill up the water. I also like how when it is full it sends a yellow float up. The bissel didn’t have that. Five stars! Plus it leaves the carpet and my rugs unbelievably clean. If you’re debating just buy it. If it breaks ect in the near future I will do an update. But so far 5 stars! Plus it arrived the next morning at like 7am .Up date: June 20,2025 have had the machine a few weeks. Love it! It works amazingly well. The amount of dirt it takes out of my carpets and rugs is amazing. Zero issues with it. It sucks up dirt, dog hair ect and I haven’t had to fix anything on it. I have two Labrador’s that shed like crazy. This swills the dog hairs into little balls. It does leave the carpet damp for a little while but that’s expected. Amazing machine! Still five stars after weeks of use.

I was very excited to use my machine. It came with what looks like a USA plug and no adapter.I read the instructions, used my own adapter, measured and filled the machine, turned it on and instantly heard a bang, with the smell of burning and then machine turned off…I felt it was going to create an electrical fire, especially how there is water inside the machine and something has exploded in there.Not a nice experience.

The multi directional brushes make the difference when cleaning short pile carpet.Counter intuitive. For better cleaning of carpet. More weight would help the cleaning. Just go slow and it gets out most dirt.
