Great kit with everything you need to clean out your dryer and exhaust pipe. Product quality is good and we had to use most of the rods to reach the rooftop vent and needed to use a drill to get the brush to get through a 90 degree bend turn at the far end. Up until the bend, it was easy enough to push and twist the rods to get back tons of lint. The non-slip gloves are great for gripping the smooth rods and keep your hands safe from the sharp sheet metal.The vacuum plate is nice to help contain all of the stuff you knock loose, but on the main exhaust pipe we removed it as we were apparently overdue and the amount of lint we were getting out clogged up the opening. The soft rubber adapter make it easy to adapt to any hose size for use of the attachments to clean out your dryer.They really thought of everything you would need in a kit and they included it! They even included garbage bags to put all of the lint in! The only thing I could possibly think to add to this kit is a threaded turning handle.

Want it done right, you gotta do it yourself!
Worked like a champ! We hired a professional a month ago to clean our dryer vent pipe, which I estimated was about 20 feet or so. The job they did was obviously incomplete. Rather than bring back an incompetent vendor to our home to fix the poor work they did, I took matters into my own hands. That was a good decision…buying this product was the first step. Make sure you always keep your drill running clockwise. Check that direction every time you add new lengths. Our run ended up being 17 feet. But now, I have a kit that can clean it any time our dryer performance starts to fade. My wife was elated to see that my son and I did a better job than our professional did. Not sure why they felt the need to put 30 trash bags, 2 rolls of tape, and 5 self-adhesive hooks into the kit. That seemed a bit odd. Apart from that, our dryer vent is now clear!

Great value for us diy folks versus a $300 repair bill, just use it carefully and it may last several uses, always consider where these items are made.

Great kit
I was quite impressed with the number of items included in this kit (honestly, even more than needed) for a rather modest price. More importantly, it worked very well. I definitely recommend it.I have a very long dryer vent duct so that I had to run the snake from both sides and then use a leaf blower (from inside:) ) to blow all the “good” stuff out. The whole procedure took some time but I certainly wouldn’t be able to complete it without this kit.

Clean as a whistle!
Fantastic product at a great price. My dryer and dryer vent is now clean as a whistle. This kit had everything I needed to get the job done efficiently. The shop vac attachment was helpful for cleaning tight areas around the lint filter and the brushes were perfect for cleaning the duct.

Fixed LG d80 error
I purchased the 30′ version due to my brand new LG dryer displaying a blinking “Flow Sense” light and then displaying the d80 error when the load was done, indicating a blockage. I had been using a leaf blower to clean the 24′ of 4″ vent duct which ran between the dryer to outside. It was a complete pain due to 5 turns in the duct to reach the outside, but finally cleaned it all out. This duct had likely not been cleaned in 40 years of homeowners, so there was a lot of junk that came out and I ended up running the brush from both ends since it simply would not navigate every corner. In the end, it worked. BTW – As the directions state: Do not let the cable turn left with the brush in the duct. I can tell you it becomes a huge pain to remove.

Work great but useless adapter.
The cleaning brush is working great, but the adapter is useless. I would rather pay and get a non-adapter for cheaper and less junk. Overall, the tool works great, but the adapter is a letdown.

Seem Like a Fantastic kit
Thank you so much, Amazon finally received my cleaning dryer vent kit on 12-6-24 after never getting it back in 11-2024. I took 1-star off for that. I’m so glad it came in a plain brown box with “No photo” displayed on the outside of the box showing what’s inside the box because I never received 1st one! I planning on cleaning out the dryer vent ASAP. I was so excited to get Wow, one gets a lot of different attachments in the kit was complete the drill bit was inside the small vent cover box. I will have to provide an update after using it. One thing to note; it is recommended upon applying the black tape to the plastic rods after screwing it together to ensure to fold a small piece of the black tape over to make it a lot easier when removing the black tape. I saw that in a YouTube video regarding this kit. Thank you, seller, as well.
I ordered this hoodie and paid extra for shipping to have it arrive sooner and hit the notification that it had been delivered but it never was ! This is a scam and now I’m out the money –
Ordered this cause the pros charge ridiculous amounts for cleaning your dryer vent. Saved myself over $300 by doing it myself and it worked amazingly.I’d highly recommend this if you’re a DIY kinda person and don’t wanna pay big bucks to someone else

Interesting kit, with lots of possibilities, especially for the price. This is not heavy duty, so be gentle and it may get your job done. Tried it today on a straight 15′ dryer vent pipe. If you turn slowly (clockwise only), you wont over tighten the joints, or likely break anything. Otherwise you may need 2 pair of pliers to take rods/bit apart. The vent was slightly egg shaped, and where bulged, the brush missed some material. I had to jury rig the central vac to the blue adapter to the black pipe end, so was holding both the vacuum and the drill/rods, not the best. (Could have duct taped vcacuum).I am considering cleaning some of my heat ducts at home, and may have to adapt the set, and make up a duct template for the rods/central vac to set in without holding both. I have also seen a compressed air “whip” on youtube that I may need in the big horizontal runs. Satisfied, especially at price. Bought a much heavier unit for my chimney (similar technology) and it is way better than 32′ ladders!

After reading quite a few comments, sharing their experiences, I practiced some of the recommendation, used the plastic wrap to wrap all the joints, it went deep into the duct along the way, and was stuck in somewhere in the middle, ( the total lenght of my duct to the outlet is about 25 feet). I was so worried that it might break or loosen joints that the brush head would then stay there and never be taken out. . . . as I read a comment that suggested never use reverse function. . . I had no choice but use the reverse function, very very slowly. . . it works, it was loosened, slowly, I reserved it back out. then I went to the outlet of the dryer drain outside the house, and cleaned the other remaining duct. Now it is working very good. We did not have a lot of garbage moved out but good enoug to clear out the whole duct and get the clothes “smelless” as before. Moreover, I can loosen the joints quite easily by holding the joints with two pliers twisting them loose for storage. we will do the clean up once a year with this tool. Highly recommend.
