Govee does it again for easy of use it’s done, even Alexa integration. But it does not end there, but the app is not only easy to use and intuitive but the data (in this case energy usage), is presented in such a easy way that I’m not hunting for it, nor struggling to understand it. I have also pulled some serious current though this, apx 12 amps for 45 minutes and yes it did get warm a little but nothing alarming considering the draw of the resistance heater it was powering. The ability to kill power remotely is the main reason I got it, however I can use this for my morning coffee if and when I care to set up the maker ahead of time.
Many companies have smart plugs, none I have used are as user friendly and do so much so easily as Govee. It’s not just their smart plug, but leak sensor, and temperature sensor. Such a huge improvement from my old Kila-Watt meter
If you already use the Govee app (I had some string lights) this was fast and easy to set up (you do set up 1 at a time). I love being able to track power consumption live and over time. Helped me to find out what items were power hogs and also be able to turn a portable air conditioner off without needing to go upstairs because the temp was going to be low where I live for the next few days. When I am ready I can just turn it back on from the application. Highly recommend!

These work great with my Alexa run household. Have these for pretty much all lamps in my house. Enables me to turn lights on and off, dim lights, even change colors, without getting up. Can turn lights off in any room from my chair. I haven’t touched a light switch in years.Works great, love them!

Holiday Game-Changer for Hard-to-Reach Plugs
This smart plug has made setting up our Christmas decorations way easier. I used it to automate our interior lights—no more crawling under the tree to wrestle with that awful plug. Now the Christmas tree turns on and off like magic, right on schedule. I also set it up for our mantle’s Christmas village, and it lights up beautifully each night without me lifting a finger. Super easy to use, works reliably, and adds a nice bit of holiday convenience. Wish I’d bought these years ago!

Almost perfect
PROS:* Easy to use, both the device and the app.* Doesn’t ask for too much information when signing up for app.* Tracks some, but not all, of the essential energy information.* Shows energy consumption hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and for the past year.* On/Off switch on device, through app, or by voice.* Export feature to use with spreadsheets.* Can set a custom power alert to let you know if a device is using beyond X amount of energy.* Seems to work with other dashboards and smart home apps such as Alexa, Google, etc.CONS:* Almost all features, aside from on/off switch, require app and login, i.e. no onboard display.* Doesn’t show peak voltage, peak amps or peak wattage to monitor spikes.* No place to input electric rate to show usage costs of a device. Have to calculate outside of app.SUMMARYIt’s alright and barring something going wrong I will likely keep this despite it not giving me all the information I’d like that some traditional wattmeters give you. What it gives is still useful and tracks energy usage hourly, weekly, monthly and for past year. The On/Off button on device, app and voice is nifty as we have a device with a faulty On/Off switch, so we now use this smart outlet to turn it On/Off easier. The On/Off switch is also great if you find you have a device that consumes electricity when idle and want to stop that wasted consumption when it’s not being used. The “runtime” on the app mainly just shows when the smart plug is in an On state, not the runtime of the device using energy, so keep that in mind for devices that cycle On/Off like window ac units or are used sporadically throughout the day such as microwaves.For what you get, it’s a good product. I hate to deduct a star but if they improve the app to show additional info and/or allow you to input your local utility rate, then I’ll gladly give it 5 stars. That’s why I say it’s “almost perfect”.

Decent product.
I’m am very pleased. The app is easy and informative. Gives remote access. Timer settings work fine. I wanted to have remote voltage reading as my utility supply lines are running excessively high and this supplies it. The voltage readings seem fairly accurate. Says not for 5g but my Wi-Fi operates at 5 or 2.4. you may have a choice when hooking them up.
