The item was as described, except for the packaging. It didn’t come in paper, but in compostable bags instead. I’m not sure which is better, but the sponge was just what I needed. Nothing special but simple and eco friendly.

Good eco friendly sponge
Works well. I like that I can throw them in the compost when done. They scrubber side is non-abrasive so I can use it on non-stick.

Love these so far. Slightly stiffer than regular sponges, but they do the job and loosen up with water. I like the natural colors for my kitchen.

Better Than Plastic
Had to try these out for the sake of the environment. The scrub side is good, about the same as the plastic ones, possibly not quite as rough. What is GREAT is that these are ABSORBENT. I’m so tired of sponges and towels just smearing the spill around. They pick up some but always leave a wet smear. Not these. They pick up the spill almost completely, leaving a damp and clean wiped spot. They last well, so I don’t know when I’ll need to buy them again but when the time comes, I definitely will.

Great natural scrubber for avoiding micro plastics

nice that they are compostable? in theory? but the scrubber side is NOT effective, just a regular sponge basically

These are the best!
I ordered these in the past and liked them. Then I accidentally ordered the wrong sponges. They scrubbing side fell off the sponge. I’m so glad I found these again. These hold up, are made of quality ecofriendly materials. The sisal scrubby side works well too. I am soooo happy I found these again!

*please excuse the dirty sink I was repotting my plants* I read the reviews and was quite curious and nervous especially because of the price so I thought I would wait a month or so before reviewing. This product was so great I’m still on my first sponge!! I just stick it in the wash when it starts to smell with my tea towels and cleaning cloths. It’s so much better than normal sponges! Great absorbency, doesn’t scratch up any metals, eco friendly, soft, and amazing quality. It is hard when you first get it like most sponges but it gets soft with hot water and sponge, much like a scrub daddy. But this is better and it is far more sustainable and long lasting!!!
