Have been looking for a sturdy gate forever to fit our steps and this one is perfect! Easy to open. Works well!

Sturdy and easy to assemble. It could be used by securing solidly with screws or with tension. Currently, we are using the tension installation and have big dogs that have not knocked it over.

Have had many gates . This is excellent . Well made , well thought out , great instructions .. Extra parts for different installation scenarios. I’m going to buy another one to replace a not so hot one I got a fes months ago .I highly recommend this gate . Carolkaminski

Gate is good, hate the stickers I can’t get off
Stickers! I hate stickers! Why can’t companies apply stickers that don’t half way peel off or leave residue? The gate seems fine and sturdy, but trying to get those stickers off is awful!

Not stable enough for 55″ opening.
I have a 55″ opening in a stairway. This gate may be great for a smaller space but very unstable for 55″. There would need to be a very secure stabilizer attached to the floor in order to secure this gate in the middle. Unfortunately I didn’t need a gate there immediately so waited a couple of months to put this gate in place, too late to return it. This seemed like a good quality gate. Just be aware you’ll need something substantial to secure the center area. My son is an engineer who inspected the gate and agreed with me that the gate would need something to secure it in the middle of the span.

After following the instructions, the gate wouldn’t unlock on the bottom lock and top lock wouldn’t latch at all.Seemed like a sturdy design too.Rather disappointed.

It’s the best baby gate I’ve installed, as it is solid and works perfectly. You just need to set it up correctly – make sure it is firmly in place, and then snip the zip ties. But if you screw up and need to re-set it (after snipping the zip ties), you’ll quickly see that the gate will need to be fastened back as it was… but this is best done with a clamp – easy done. You can use the spare zip ties they provided to hold it fastened, or simply leave the clamps on as you set the whole unit in place.

Absolutely love this baby gate! The pressure-mounted system is genius. Super sturdy without drilling into the walls. Had it for over a year now. It was quick to install and holds up perfectly, even with our toddler pushing on it. On top of that, the customer support was incredible.
