Really like these sponges
These sponges are actually quite nice! The compact way they’re shipped is great for space savings and packaging during shipping but not really practical showing how you can pack them on the go – what are you supposed to do with them after you use them? They are no longer compacted at that point unless you have a vacuum sealer with you when you travel! Once wet, these sponges expand quickly and fell really great! They do a good job scrubbing and hold up really well too.i used on my glass top stove, no scratches! They’re a great size for your hand too. They rinse well and do not smell as long as you let them air dry out in the open. Definitely recommend these sponges!

Great Sponges
These are a bit blockier (thicker) than ones I have purchased in the past, but all good. Useful at kitchen sink and cleanup projects anywhere. Easy to store and travel. I will buy more when these are gone!

Good for cleaning and the earth
Works great! These store flat and small which is really nice, however when in contact with water expand to full size. They really help with cleaning around the house or with dishes. The thickness is really good, and I appreciate the quality and how long you can use it before needing to compost. It’s cellulose fibers so it’s also healthy for the earth rather than plastic sponges which makes me feel better about my purchase.

large sponges and quality inconsistency
These sponges are surprisingly large – they are not your average dish sponge size so check the dimensions if that will bother you since they may not easily fit in smaller hands. The first one I used also has a large hole in it, about the size of nickel, all the way through. It’s not a big deal, obviously the sponge still works, but it also isn’t supposed to be that way. Otherwise, these perform as you’d expect, with the bonus of being space-saving prior to use.

If you have large hands, you’re going to love these!
I love pop-up sponges, but I wasn’t expecting them to pop up to such a large, irregular size. I like to use sponges for washing dishes, but these sponges are way too thick and long for my hand. You need a strong grip to squeeze the water out. I think they will be perfect for washing cars, wiping tables or anywhere a strong grip is not required.

Sponge perfection!
I have previously bought these amazing natural cellulose sponges at Trader Joes. Trust me when I say they are the most wonderfully absorbent sponges in the universe and they last a very long time if you don’t abuse them. The Trader Joes ones, however, are smaller in size and more expensive. These are bigger and thicker and with the 20% off Amazon deal right now these are a great buy for 6 larger sponges. You could conceivably even chop these in half. I actually always cut one in half to keep in my half-bathroom just to dry the sink and counter. As there’s no a lot of space, it’s nice to have a little sponger there to do that job. And now my “halves” will be a bit thicker which is great. It really does absorb water like magic and NO STREAKS! They’re a life changer, especially if you have hard water and your sink and counters dry with lots of water spots. You need these!h the silly things that excite me! Yes a ginormous, yellow cellulose sponge can do that for me! It’s so amazing I should give it a name. This thing can probably hold more water than my mop! Spills are no match for this thing. If you’re one of those people who like to dry their sink, tub or shower after use, you need this sponge. It’s natural cellulose so not only does it last, it’s light years more absorbent than any synthetic sponge. If it’s too big for you, just cut it in half, but trust me, it’s perfect as is for those wet jobs. I love it and have just now decided to name her “Louise” because she makes cleanup jobs a breeze!

biodegradable
I wanted to try these cellulose pop-up sponges because I liked the idea of something biodegradable and eco-friendly for everyday cleaning. When they first arrive, they’re completely flat, which is great for storage. As soon as you run them under water, they expand into a nice, thick sponge that feels soft but durable.I’ve used them for washing dishes, wiping down counters, and even cleaning windows, and they hold up well without breaking apart. They don’t have a scratchy surface, so they’re safe on more delicate items, but they still do a good job of scrubbing away messes. They rinse out easily and dry fairly quickly, which helps keep them from getting that musty smell that some sponges develop over time. One thing to keep in mind is that, like all natural sponges, they don’t last as long as synthetic ones. After a couple of weeks of regular use, they start to break down a little, especially if they’re used for heavy scrubbing. But since they’re biodegradable, I don’t mind replacing them more often.Overall, these are a great alternative to regular sponges. They work well, don’t take up much space, and are a nice option for anyone looking to reduce waste in their kitchen. Just keep in mind that they won’t last forever, but for a natural product, that’s expected. they are well worth the money.
