life saver for pet owners
This is hands down the best odor eliminator on the market. I have a cat who gets chronic UTIs and pees outside the litterbox. She has ruined clothing, mattresses, couches, etc before I tried Zero Odor. We also own an elderly dog who sometimes misses his puppy pads and gets the hallway carpet. This spray has saved so many of my things and made life much more pleasant. It instantly kills the bad smells. My family laughs at me because I look like an infomercial demonstrating it to friends with pets. It does have a bit of a smell, somewhat reminiscent of a faint bleach smell, but the smell fades quickly. I have even tossed a bit into my washer and done a pre soak on laundry that had cat pee on it. We buy gallons of this stuff and use it for every day house freshening as well as pet odors.

Gets rid of cat pee smell! And wet dog.
I have the og and the pet and am sold. Tried it all. Resolve, out, urine gone etc and so on. This is the only thing that gets rid of cat pee smell. I have hyper sensitive nose and can sniff it out when no one at home can. Our indoor/ outdoor cat is fixed but still sprays. Ive sprayed it on the balusters / banisters and outside columns. And he peed in my car. And sprayed it down and blotted up some. Next day did again and it’s gone. I have five dogs and this works great in between washing thier dog beds and blankets. One is pad trained and the potty pads are on a washable pad. I spray that and just spritz in the air. As others mentioned in one of these – I got tiny little spray bottles. Kind for like travel for perfume or hair products. This keeps the spray from getting all over the floor etc. I need a gallon. Love that it isn’t smelly.

It works when follow instrutions.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have used this for 20 years because if you do it as instructed it works. Had a mattress given us that smelled horrible of smoke. When saturated and dried then saturated again, the smell was gone even after 5 years of use of the mattress. I have used it for dog urine for years as well and saturating the pee area after you pour warm water with baking soda and then putting thisck towel or washable pee pads and soaking up you then saturate the area and let dry, then vacuum. Smell gone even after 5 years when try to smell to make sure. Love this stuff. It works if you follow instructions. Seems to be only thing that ever worked.

IT WORKS!!!!!!
I’m a BELIEVER now! My puppy missed the pee pad and soaked the carpet runner with pee which leaked through and nailed our laminate flooring. I use some other cleaner and months later my uber pregnant nose suddely can smell the urine. So I spray this directly on the laminate flooring and left it overnight. The next morning I can’t smell any urine. IT WORKS, I am only buying this brand from now on. It has a teeny faint fresh smell like bleach, but I sprayed this directly on carpet with no noticeable discoloring. The faint smell is gone upon drying.

DOES contain tracer fragrance; somewhat helps eliminate odors in the air but takes many sprays
Our cat has the stinkiest poops EVER (high protein diet), so aside from running an air purifier and cracking a window, I wanted to find an air freshener that would eliminate the smell from the air after she goes. I wanted to make sure it was pet-safe, and left no fragrance of its own. We had previously tried a “plant based” spray that worked great but unfortunately left behind a super floral perfumey odor that lingered, so next we decided to try this Zero Odor. I bought the “pet” version but honestly not sure if it’s just regular Zero Odor marketed as a different thing.***Packaging:White plastic bottle looks like typical “bathroom cleaning product” – wouldn’t necessarily want to leave it out. No leaks in shipping. The sprayer does a jet and a mist, but the nozzle isn’t labeled, so you’ll have to spray to find out which is which (odd). The spray pattern isn’t great either – since we’re primarily using this in the air I would prefer a fine mist but it kind of comes out half stream/half mist so I’ll probably have to end up putting this in my own sprayer bottle.***Scent:While claiming to be “fragrance free,” it does list “tracer fragrance” on the ingredients, which is meant to let you know where you’ve sprayed it and then dissipate quickly. Luckily I’m just sensitive to fragrances and not actually allergic, but if you have a fragrance allergy, I would say the marketing is a bit misleading because this certainly does contain fragrance! I sprayed into my office first to test the scent, and there’s definitely a generic perfumey “cleaning product” or “fresh clean” type of scent with a hint of chlorine when first sprayed – luckily it dissipates within 30-60 seconds or so from the air. I stepped out of the room, came back in about 30 seconds, and couldn’t smell it anymore. So at least it doesn’t linger.***Odor elimination:The big test came when our cat did her daily Dump of Doom. After scooping I sprayed this a couple times into the closet where we keep the litter box, then 3 times into the room outside the box which usually becomes uninhabitable for about an hour while we run the air purifier. After waiting about 30 seconds I went back in and would say it reduced the smell about 50%. Not a miracle but the fact that we could be in that room without holding our noses was miraculous. So I sprayed a second round which helped more but still not 100% elimination.***Overall:• It does eliminate odors from the air somewhat, but does take a lot of spraying to do so – about 12 sweeping sprays just for one room, and I’d say only 50-75% of the smell is eliminated• I can’t speak to how well this removes odor from surfaces (like fabric) but I have to assume it does a better job there than in the air; as an air freshener, it doesn’t seem to do the job well• DOES contain “tracer fragrance” but luckily it dissipates pretty quickly and doesn’t linger• Sprayer isn’t great; if you use this often, I’d probably buy the gallon-size refill and get a nicer bottle with a fine mist sprayerI’ll probably be returning this – 12+ sprays just to eliminate the odor about 50% just isn’t worth it for our purposes – it doesn’t make me feel confident enough to have guests over if our cat dropped a bomb in their presence! So I’ll be trying something else. Can’t speak for how it works on surfaces, though.

Nothing better out there.
I bought this for my sister because her dog has incontinence issues. She can’t stop raving about it. She also works at a retirement home and has decided to take it to work for those patients who have issues while sleeping. I’ve known about Zero Odor since it first came out and knew it works miracles. You’ll be blown away about how well it works.

Effective Without Overpowering Fragrance Additives
It works for our litter box area for more than one cat. The smell is clean once applied and no overpowering fragrance like competing products.

Seems to work for a short period of time. But does not last

I had tried everything to get rid of the smell of cat pee from inside a wardrobe, including vinegar which usually works, but not this time. I then bought the Zero Pet Odor Eliminator and it worked like a dream. One application and the smell was gone.

We have a deep pile rug in our living room with two dogs, 1 at a year old and 1 at 5 months old.. this rug has been down from about two years ago. We have had accidents like all other pet owners and had carpet shampoos the lot but nothing seemed to move the smell of piddle.. we didnt want to buy a new rug until puppy is abit older so just needed something to take the smell away. Like anything we were abit sceptical but i used the full spray and did the front and back. Its removed the smell completely im actually thrilled. Two weeks in and still no smell. I ordered another bottle incase of anymore mishaps.. brilliant all round product.. it does smell a little bit like bleach for the first day or so but then that smell disappears.. worth a shot!

Expensive, but you get what you pay for with this product. It works very well, but it’s not instant, you need to clean the soiled area thoroughly and then apply the product liberally.

My go to for my cats, onfact I love all their products – cat litter odor, pet odor and odor in general. The only down side is, it’s expensive!
