How long do I need to charge the Doorbell? Under laboratory environments, the doorbell camera wireless battery lasts up to 2 months with 20 daily triggers. Real-world usage varies depending on motion frequency and environmental factors. To extend battery life, adjust sensitivity to minimize non-essential alerts or narrow motion detection zones to focus on key areas. Avoid installing in high-traffic areas (e.g., facing sidewalks).

Jan 2025 Update: They don’t tell you this but I’ve learned about it during the major cold snap we’ve had twice now. If the outside temp gets anywhere -0F to about 20, maybe 24-25F, don’t expect this camera doorbell to record and notify you of every alert you set it to notify you about. For example, during our two cold snaps of arctic weather, the doorbell misses times when it should be recording or notifying me of someone in view of the camera. This includes when I have taken my dog outside- it’ll sometimes only record when I’m first in front of the camera’s view or as I’m walking back into the house instead of both, same goes for the areas I’ve set as areas I want it to definitely notify me about. So if you live in an area that gets a lot of below 0F temperatures, you might want a different brand but I did speak with their customer service and nothing really improved it; however, they did give me a free 6 month cloud storage option for compensation of the issues I’ve been having.I recently bought this doorbell cam and I’m very impressed with it, especially for the price point. It was quite easy to install. I wasn’t sure how well the sticker would work since those things are usually 50/50 on how good they are so I used the screws to attach the camera to my house. Didn’t take long at all & then I set the camera angle how I wanted it, also super easy. I finished charging the camera before attaching it permanently & it didn’t take too long actually. The camera was over 80% charged when it arrived so it took under an hour to reach 100%.I tested it out a few different ways to make sure the motion detection was spot on and it was. That evening, when it got dark, I made sure to check the camera’s feed and it’s super crisp and clear. I can even see clearly to where my car’s parked so that’s great. You can see someone pretty clearly in night vision. I did have to adjust the motion sensor settings in the app to help remove false notifications but that didn’t take long and it’ll also save some battery life.Now, onto the battery life. I can’t speak for how long I will have before it needs recharging as I’ve only owned the camera for 4 days as of this review but in that 4 days it’s still at 70% charge.I’m not going with the paid subscription option but I did install a micro SD card into the camera and that connected easily. You have to format the card first though- just a head’s up for you.All in all, this is a well built camera, it has the settings I need and best of all, no subscription required to have the good features, unlike other camera doorbells and security systems.

The camera has a decent picture for the price and loads the video within five seconds. The audio is okay, with clear sound. Mounting was effortless. I also purchased the ring chime, which alerts you when the doorbell button is pressed. Motion is captured when this feature is turned on. My only con is that the battery life isn’t as great. Without motion being set, the cameras will stay charged for about four weeks. With motion on, and depending on your settings, the battery life suffers a bit. The charging is okay, which is fully charged in about four hours.

Je suis très heureuse de mon achat. La sonnette est environ à 20 m de wi-fi et tout fonctionne. Des fois, c’est un peu capricieux, mais je pense acheter un répétiteur de réseau pour amplifier le réseau dans le jardin. Le carrillon sonne bien un bon volume. En plus on peut en acheter des carillon supplémentaire. Je l’ai également connecté à mon écran Google Nest Qui fonctionne avec Google Home par contre j’ai dû passer par l’application CloudEdge, et ce que je trouve un peu dommage c’est qu’il n’y a pas la notification vocale quand quelqu’un sonne. Je peux uniquement consulter l’écran en lui posant la question que j’ai créé dans les automatisations « qui est à la Sonnette? » ou « Connecte-toi à la sonnette » Qui est automatiquement reconnu, même sans automatisation. Peut-être que cela fonctionne mieux avec Alexa… À voir si cela résiste bien avec les intempéries également. Pour le moment rien à dire bonne connexion belle qualité d’image, nombreuses options dans l’application et vous pouvez également partager la Sonnette sur l’application avec d’autres membres de la famille. Très utile quand on n’est pas à domicile pour voir qui sonne. J’apprécie tout particulièrement les messages prédéfinis à créer soi-même, ou quand je suis au travail, je n’ai même pas besoin de répondre à la sonnette. J’envoie le message qui est lu au livreur « merci de poser le colis ». J’ai vu qu’il y avait la possibilité de brancher un panneau solaire sur la prise USB, à voir dans le futur…

It connected to Wi-Fi and the app without a hitch, and it looks really sleek once installed. One of the best features is how well it works with Alexa – even with just an Echo Dot! You can use voice commands to talk through the doorbell, which is super handy.To connect it to Alexa, you’ll need to enable the “Morecam” skill in the Alexa app and link your doorbell account. Just a heads-up: it’s worth renaming your doorbell in the app before linking it to Alexa (although can do it after) otherwise Alexa will refer to it using a long random code instead of something easy like “Front Door” or “Doorbell.”Just makes life easier lol.The app itself isn’t overly high tech but is easy to navigate and use, and it even shows you the battery life of the doorbell at a glance, which is super useful.Notifications are fast too. the moment someone presses the bell, it pops up on your phone where you can answer, hang up or set up a voicemail (cool feature we didn’t even realise it had initially).The chime that comes with it is also a great bonus. It runs on AAA batteries, so it’s totally portable so you can move it wherever you are in the house. It has a range of ringtones and adjustable volume, so whether you want it loud or quiet, you’re covered. The only thing to note is that the sound from the doorbell unit itself isn’t super loud, but it’s still clear enough to hear.So far, the battery life seems really good, and overall, this is a brilliant little system. It’s well designed, affordable, and packed with features you’d expect from much pricier models!If you’re after a smart doorbell that delivers on quality, integrates with Alexa, and is easy to set up, this is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a fantastic Product, and it is well worth its money, and it has a lot of functions to keep your Eyes on your front door, alerts you, and you have to turn down the sensitivity. Good night vision, excellent daytime viewing and a very good-looking product build quality are excellent. Motion detection is super sensitive, so be careful. If I tell you any more, it will spoil it for you, and you definitely get it for peace of mind, so when deliveries come to your door, you will always know before they press the bell. I have noticed some sometimes the delivery van drivers get into my block without pressing the security entry system, which is a bad No. So I got this camera because it’s one of the cheapest out there in the market. I have enjoyed putting it together. But the installation for more than one device is somewhat hardcore resetting it on every system is so hardcore, not easy. But installation of the Software is good and ready to use only when you have an email and password, and set up an account, and you’re all done.
