Review of Walfos Round Hot Pads. The 12 inch round is just smaller that 12 so that is fits inside my GE microwave glass platter – what I bougth it for. My microwave cavity is a bit high for me and this ‘hot pad’ allows me to cradle a hot bowl of soup without burning my fingers or slopping it around trying to slide a pot holder uner it. I just pull up the EASY TO GRAB sides and cradel the bowl with the thick insulating sides. There is lies my one conflict in reviewing this product – it has a pattern of ridges or dare say molded grooves in the silicon underneath. The smooth top is easy to wipe and the molding underneath provides a small lip around the top both to catch boilovers and splashes as well as easy grab point to fold up the hot pad around what you are heating. BUT those grooves / ridges are a pain in the arse to rinse out and DRY. You can not simply put the pad back into the microwave – the water will be trapped between the pad and glass and boil when next used. That water can pop, make steam in cavity and make for hot spots underneath what you are cooking. Simply let it drain – So I now have a clip under micowave to let it drip dry onto stovetop before next use. But it is so useful that I did not ding it to 4 stars

Perfect Hot Mat for Hot Pots and Pans
We looked for something to replace hot pads, towels, etc., that we used to put hot pots and pans on to protect the countertop or glass stovetop. These are perfect! They come in a set of two, are made of silicon, are thin enough to easily store away on a hook inside a cabinet door next to the stove, but thick enough to cushion and protect countertops from heat and scratching.

Handy accessory for air-fryer!
We uses this product daily to put under our air-fryer trays. Keeps all of crumbs and oil contained. The reason it gets 4-stars rather than 5-stars is because it’s a pain to clean by hand. You can put them in the dishwasher (which we most often do), but you need to make sure that is propped up adequately for it to clean well.

I love these. I have had them a few years and they have saved my countertops many times! I am a small baker so the silicone versus cork is absolutely wonderful. I also bake a lot of sourdough and these are perfect for setting my Dutch ovens down on! Easy to use and easy to clean!

These are nice quality. I love how I can reuse them even when they get dirty. They did not smell when they came out of the package. They can withstand heat from the oven. They move enough to grab the pan out of the oven or even place the pan on the counter
