    Works AMAZINGLY… for my needs
This small, but effective dehumidifier works exactly as I need it to – keeps the humidity down below 65% on average the humidity being 50%, all within a closet about 42 ft cubed (3 x 2 x 7). It gets this done easily so but I imagine it can moderately keep up with the advertised 500 ft sq (or ~ 3,500 ft cubed if the 500 ft sq floor had a height of lets say 7ft) & thats generous. That said, you may need to for 1000 ft cubed room & to only keep the humidity at about 60% or so, it all depends on your needs. It gets 5 stars from me because it’s performing exactly as I need it to tho it’s a relatively small space, so please consider your own needs & parameters before purchasing.

    Small but mighty!
This is a great dehumidifier! We had some flooding in the basement level of our home, and left some of the carpeted areas were really taking their time to dry, so we bought this thing and put it in the area we were most concerned about and it started working almost right away! The tank where the water ends up is a decent size so you don’t have to constantly empty it, but the amount of water that does appear gives you confidence that it’s doing its job! Definitely also recommend if you have humidity issues that could lead to mold, as this device will suck that moisture out, no problem!

    Mold prevent.
We had a really bad moisturizer issue in our 750sqft apartment. So bad that metal rusted, salt weeped, the carpet felt moist, and porous material molded. (Complex was not able to identify a cause). That being said I bought 2 and they were perfect. Low noise when working but the beep does get your attention. We had to change them every 2 days after the first time which filled in under 24hrs. Colors are great. Not too hot when stored in an open space. Perfect for allergies too since it pull so much dust out of the air, we have to wipe the top during changes. We loved the way these things work so much we bought the “To Life” brands air purifier too. After a good house bleaching we even stopped getting mold.

Does the job with one annoying issue.
Almost perfect. This thing is a workhorse. I can tell a difference in the humidity of the room. Its being used for a bedroom/closet. I do notice an increase in how much water is in it on rainy or extra humid days. I like the lights as they make for a good night light. It is very quiet but does work as a tiny bit of white noise. My 1 and only complaint is how hard it is for me to get the water reservoir out to be cleaned. Its so difficult i wondered if i was just missing something but im not finding an explination. If i could take 1.5 stars off for this issue i would. It is something i do twice-ish a week and despise it everytime. Tonight i got so beyond frustrated with it that i decided to write this review.

    Works great!
The lightweight dehumidifier is fantastic! The lights provided a great ambiance, and there’s an option to turn it off. It is quite quiet so the first night I ran it, I wondered if it was even turned on. I noticed my room is definitely drier. I’m happy I bought it!

    Can’t even handle a small walk-in closet.
Needed this for a 6×9 walk-in bedroom closet with 1 door and no windows that I was having mildew issues in. Humidity outside has been in the 80%’s. The closet door was always left fully open. Previously, I had tried a fan to circulate air and also Damp Rid tubs, but the humidity was still in the 60%’s and I need it below 50%. I put this unit towards the interior/back of the closet where it was in the open with nothing next to or above it. Everything turned on and I could hear the fan, but there was barely any air felt coming out of the top. I let it run for 3 days and the tank collected about a 1/2″ of water. My hygrometer never went below 58% when the unit was running and the bedroom/closet normally are 63-64%. The seller sent me some troubleshooting tips, but nothing helped. The product description photos portray “Before 80% After 50%” (or 45% in another photo), but there’s just no way this little thermoelectric unit can handle even a small closet to come anywhere near the RH levels it claims. I returned this and have purchased a condenser type dehumidifier.

The underdog that beats Gulf Coast TX humidity
Honestly just a really good little dehumidifier. I live in Gulf Coast Texas, two blocks from the beach, and noticed mildew growing on a pair of my leather heels. I didn’t think much of it, and just wiped them down, but a couple months later and it’s back full force. So I decided to try a dehumidifier.I was originally a bit nervous given the price and the other reviews, but took the plunge and have not regretted it. The tank filled up after about three days, and it certainly feels cooler in my apartment. It is remarkably quiet, and the colors are a nice little bonus. I’m already planning to get another one for my bathroom. If you’re in need of a dehumidifier, don’t let the price make you hesitate, this is a good one.

    Works great
I had read that people had issues with the fit after emptying the water. I did the first time until I figured out I didn’t have it in place properly. It works great in my bathroom. My exhaust fan isn’t great so this is just to help keep humidity down until I replace it. Though after using it I will likely keep it. The other boy complaint I have is the noise when it gets full. It is very loud (I make sure it stays no more than half full so it doesn’t go off at night) and it doesn’t shut off

It’s usefully…..my bathroom is very fesh now

It’s little but works pretty good, I can’t have anything bigger so this will do.

so far I don’t have any real complaints, it seems to be solidly designed and is doing a great job of managing the humidity in my RV with one caveat; the humidity in the bedroom at the opposite end of the trailer is still quite high especially at night when sleeping, I’ll be purchasing a second one to put on the bedside table.A huge bonus in my eyes is that it only draws 50 watts which I confirmed with a Electricity Consumption Monitor.only thing that I’m kindve leery about is that in the directions it says to unplug it for 10 minutes every 24 hours… from what I understand of the mechanics behind this devices dehumidification that shouldn’t be necessary unless they cheaped out on the motor in the fan and overheating is an issue. I’m going to monitor it and will report back when I review the second unit.

I have a basement office and it’s been pretty stuffy in there lately so I decided to get one of these to bring down the humidity.Works great and definitely picks up a lot of moisture, I’ve had to empty the reservoir once week so far.But Its a tad noisy to have right next to you.
