A must have if you work from home
A great standing desk, it comes with a little drawer which i didnt even realize but it was a pleasant surprise. I got the 55 inch, it comfortably fits my two big monitors and my work laptop next to each other, and i have space for my notepad. It also comes with a cable management thing, which is great. This desk essentially has it all. It was easy to set up, i did it myself in less than an hour, it has memory settings for height which is great since i also have a walking pad that i use with it sometimes, and it raises/lowers silently, nothing that anyone would notice in a teams meeting. I love this desk, and it was affordable for what you get. Don’t hesitate.

(Updated review) Great desk (5 year review included)
1/29/21 UpdateThis is my third update after owning 9 month. During my first review, i gave 5 stars, then lowered to 2 stars on my second update, which, in hindsight was a bit harsh. Now I’m raising to 5 stars again because after only 1 minor cosmetic issue, this is still the cheapest option for this type of desk. So here’s my quick thoughts after 9 months.-Still love it, the motor works fine-The desk material is not too durable, but as long as you are gentle, it should be fine. for everyday typing and writing.-Some people seem to have issues with the motor burning out. This didn’t happen to me, so I can’t speak to that, looks like just unfortunate luck for some people-some people complain about the desk wobbling when you type but this doesn’t happen for me, but I’m also a light typer————————————-7/1/20 Update, 3 months later – I’m leaving my original review below, because everything is still true. This is a great desk for the most part, however, there’s one huge flaw that happened today. I was taping a package and left a piece of packing tape attached to the desk. It wasn’t even attached that firmly. After a few minutes, I pulled the piece of tape up and it took the whole corner of the desk laminate with it. As mentioned below, I was ok with a laminate desk for the price, but was shocked by how outrageously thin the laminate is. It’s like… thinner than a piece of paper (view photo). It makes Ikea quality look like West Elm. Otherwise great desk, but because of such a huge flaw, i’m bumping it from 5 to 2 stars since it’s still usable. Just be really careful about putting anything with a slight adhesive against the surface—————————————————–As a tech employee who has used many standing desks, I really like this, especially for the low cost. Instead of pros-cons, I though I’d address all the complaints in other reviews and give some insight to help buyers make a decision. The only thing I can’t speak to is the longevity since I’ve only had it about a month or the customer service since I haven’t needed to contact them.Concerns found in other reviews:Desk is cheap material – Ok, please be realistic. for sub-$300 you are NOT going to find a sit/stand desk made out of solid wood. You’re not even going to find a standard desk made out of solid wood. Get over it. As of May 2020, my color doesn’t appear available anymore, but it’s a white frame with a ashy grayish beechwood that looks good for being synthetic. Yes, there are a lot of 1 star reviews of the outer layer arriving damaged. I mean, if your desk arrives damaged, not really the companies fault. And unfortunately, once particle board is damaged, it’s looks pretty bad. Just return yours if it’s damaged and be extra careful not to scratch it once it’s built. You should be using this desk for computer work, not home improvement projects. The edges of the desk are sharp – yes that’s true, but it only hurts if you rest your arm for like 30 seconds or more. But for real, it’s really bad posture to rest your arm on the corner of a desk so maybe don’t do that.Parts missing/difficult to assemble – Missing parts are unfortunate but it happens sometimes with Amazon orders. As far as difficult to assemble, if you’ve put together a piece of ikea furniture, you’ll be fine. 95% of it can be assembled with included allen wrench. I did it alone in about 40 minutes.Exposed motor – Some of the more expensive desks do a better job at hiding the motor. but who cares. Nobody has mentioned anything on mine. It’s loud – I’ve used several sit/stand desks. Most of them make noise. This one is not loud. Not sure how I can describe it. Maybe like an electric toothbrush while it’s adjusting.Programmable settings don’t work – as of 5/1/20 the instructions on the listing appear to be incorrect, but after you create a setting, you have to double-tap the number to make it adjust. pressing it once won’t do anything.Desktop comes in two pieces and looks cheap – Yes, the desk comes in two pieces, but no one has noticed at all and it doesn’t bother me. Would prefer one piece, but hey, this is by far the least expensive sit/stand desk so it’s not really a big deal. Besides, most of your monitors or other equipment should be covering the crease.5/8/25 update. Well it’s been 5 years. Everything works great. Motor is fine. No bowing/warpkmg. still looks good. My original critique, don’t use adhesives or it will pull the veneer off easily. The edges are a little sharp so I covered it with a mat to protect my wrists. Might not bother most people.Bonus: add some casters and this desk fits through list doorways if you need to move it to a different room!

    Great Standing Sitting Desk
This is a excellent Desk for my at home office. Was easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy for the price. The motor is not very noisy and the up and down movement is smooth. The finish of the desk top is also excellent. For the quality and the amount you spend on this desk, this is a great value. Will be ordering a second one soon for my Gaming PC in my bedroom.

come on amazon let me write a long title. color wrong desk good details inside
Original title cause amazon’s a 🐩: the color of the top panel doesn’t match the name or photo but your mileage will vary and it’s still worth a buyso I needed a new desk. my old one was on the verge of decomposing and I didn’t want to haul it all the way up a flight of stairs to my new residence. so after about an hour of intense migraines from scrolling through amazon I settled on this one.I can’t remember how quickly it got delivered and it might have been delayed by like a day or two but it was well within the unsaid law of reasonable delivery time limits. I got it in maple cause my floors were hardwood, and deep in the moldy recesses of my brain I recalled someone saying they were maple, so I was like sweet, the photo appears to match my floors, so maybe I’ll finally have something in my room that’s coordinated with The Colors. it ships here and it is not the same maple. maybe my floors are misnamed, or maybe the trees they were hewn from spent their lives in the shade or something. but what’s in the box looks more like what would happen if an ash blonde chick washed her hair with brass removing shampoo. I’d show a photo but I don’t have any and I’m not going back to that residence for like a week. Maybe if you live in the world of overly saturated, sharpened and dodged landscape photos that are bizarrely popular in Facebook groups, it could look like maple. but it doesn’t match my flooring. The faux woodgrain finish actually looks pretty nice, though, for particle board.Desk assembly went well. I am a complete numb🌰 when it comes to assembling things (there’s a reason I named my homebuilt computer the Jank Queen. the sources of most noises that thing makes still elude me), and I deliberately take my time building things because my working memory is more like a roulette wheel and I don’t want to waste energy shaving off a meager 15 seconds. I think I built it in like a half hour, 45 minutes? While not sporting Instagram-reel-worthy machining in any of the screw holes, it’s a (I forgot how much it cost already)desk from china. Don’t look at the teeth of a horse you got as a gift. Anyway, the screws actually fit well through the holes, unlike some other metal things from China I’ve bought recently, and everything is done with an Allen key, so I didn’t need any extra tools. Now for the desk:I have two giant-🐴 monitors because I like to dedicate 75% of my screen space to pictures of thomas the tank engine characters, and because I will kick and scream and hiss before I give up my last remaining dell ultrasharp u3014. 16:10 is the best aspect ratio. don’t fight me. I’ll win. Anyway the two monitors I have measure 32(30??)” and 27???” inches diagonally and they are pretty heavy for flatscreen panels. ok maybe not the 27″ but my gigantamax dell monitor makes up for it. When I adjust the height of the desk they don’t budge. Not even a little jiggle from the ultrasharp. the motor that raises and lowers the desk does so incredibly gradually, starting slower at first and speeding up, but even at ludicrous speed it’s still not very fast. if you’re wealthy or vain or something else you probably have a set of two-pound tiny apple monitors that could give me a papercut with that horrendous lack of bezel. or maybe monitors have just gotten that thin as of recent times. I don’t know. I hate trends. But if you have those I don’t even know why you’re worrying about the sturdiness of the desk. I tried wobbling it with a considerable amount of force and the thing shook like a little, but more in the way that train cars aren’t bolted together in one big long line, but rather have a flexible divider. Like it’s designed to have room to breathe. anyway I’m rambling. It’s sturdy. It will hold anything you would need to put on a desk. The speed presets on the motor confused me for a bit because I threw away the manual after I built it, but I figured it out. It comes with 4 presets already, but you can change them. Click twice to active the preset height. I forgot already how to set the preset. It’s in the manual. I think. The cable management basket on the bottom also confuses me, mostly because I am horrendously bad at it, but if your cables were long enough you could probably hide them better than I could. Note that wires are still very visible going from the motor to the wall and from your monitors to your computer, unless you don’t have a million things plugged in like I do. That’s ok. It’s life. Happiness doesn’t revolve around having a flawless polished room covered from ceiling to floor in retina scorching LEDs like all the reddit posts glorify. The drawer at the bottom is pretty useless. I use it to keep all the extra hardware I got from furnishing my new domicile.8/10 not enough maple

Easy assembly. Great quality. Great price.
This desk was easy to put together and get going. I got it to use for my work from home job to use my walking pad while I work and during breaks. It took me 30 minutes to put together. All the parts fit fine and I was able to use a knife for the two screws that needed a screw driver. As you can see, I got a smaller one. It is great quality.

I love this desk, it’s exactly what I wanted, and just the size I needed for my small space. It feels sturdier than I expected. I saw some reviews about the wood desk top piece coming in two sections, this is no longer the case, it’s one solid piece now. I also saw complaints about the packaging, I definitely didn’t have this experience, it was packaged very well, with protective corner pieces on the desk to protect it from getting banged up. I love the material of the desk, I think there’s a type of solid plastic or something coating it. It feels very solid and strong and resistant to scratching and damage. (I was worried it would be a cheap particle board desk that’s easily shredded up but definitely not) There is a tiny little drawer included to hold your pens and sticky notes or whatever, very appreciated. The side hooks as well I found a use for. Make sure to check the lengths of all your cords before raising the desk.It took me by myself a little less than an hour to assemble, trying to be very careful. There’s not really any text for the instructions, it’s pretty much just pictures. It looks a little overwhelming at first, there were a few confusing parts but if you study the diagram and line everything up to make sense first it’s fine. The instructions do say all you’ll need is the included allen wrench, but to attach the control panel it’s some phillips screws and little screw holes, you definitely need a screwdriver to complete the assembly and that’s not provided. There’s 4 buttons to save height presets which is awesome, because it takes about 30 seconds to raise or lower the desk and you can just double press the button and it’ll raise for you, no need to hold it down. Saving or updating the presets is also super easy, you just put it at the height you want and hold the number button to save it. There’s very exact numbers displayed. I’m 5′ 6′ and the range of height is great, it definitely goes higher and lower than I need and doesn’t feel unstable at all. I’ve attached a video to show how much noise it makes and the rotating motor component.I’m not going to say I’m suddenly the pinnacle of health and focus now that I have a standing desk but one month in I’m still really enjoying having the option to stand up and shake off the sludge of sitting, I still use the standing function multiple times every day so far. If you’re an antsy, fidgety person like me you’ll really benefit from it. If you care about the health aspect and were disappointed reading those articles saying standing and sitting burn the same amount of calories, I will say I find myself moving and stretching and wiggling around a lot more while standing so that’s something. It FEELS like it should burn more calories than sitting. Definitely helps my chronic desk-worker shoulder pains a lot as well.Overall, WELL worth this price. I’m very very happy with it. If you’re on the fence, you deserve it. This is a pretty reasonable price for any desk, especially one that moves.

  8. Colin

Just assembled it today and it seemed quite sturdy. It is what you expect with the price point.
