Great thermostat with lots of features
This is my first entry into home automation and it is a winner. Setup was super easy as the app walks you through everything. The only issue I had (which I knew about ahead of time) was my old thermostats used batteries so I knew a common wasn’t hooked up. After some reading and exploring the HVAC schematics I found the common and connected it to an unused lead in the thermostat wiring (there was an already ran blue wire, just not hooked up). The install, including the wiring took 15 minutes and the setup took 10. I also installed an additional sensor which became a instant game changer as there was always difficulty with cold spots. The one thing that I couldn’t find an answer to was the unit can’t be synced to a sensor that is already synced to another thermostat. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to see what the other sensors were ready (this is my second thermostat in the same house with two separate hvac systems).Lastly, the Sensi missed the mark on the scheduling of the fan. Everything can be scheduled except for the manual “fan on:?” function. I leave my fan on at night and let the unit cycle the compressor. This is the one and only change I would want.

Easy installation, great iPhone app ensured correct setup
Easy installation and easy to use. Replaced an existing Lennox thermostat that was continually problematic. Downloaded iPhone app and followed the directions. I was a little worried that the current wires/letters did not match the new Sensi Touch 2 letter but the phone app had me select my current configuration and answer a few questions (gas, electric, heat pump) and like magic it told me where the wires should go on the new unit. Critical to take a photo or write down current configuration (I did both) to make sure the color wires go in the correct slots. The app is really excellent. After an easy installation I ran through the “System Testing “ section and everything worked perfectly. Highly recommend this product. It gave 100% compatibility and super easy WiFi connectivity. Two thumbs up. (Photos are old setup)Updated Review after 10 days of use…iPhone app stopped talking to thermostat. Tried several trouble shooting ideas but finally did a factor reset of the thermostat and got it working again. The factory reset had me redo my wifi access which was minor. Also set my first schedule, which was easy to do. Overall, still two thumbs up.

Easy installation and programming with Accurate temperature
My T-stat has been install about a month without any issues, my previous programmable/non-wifi T-stat started to have false temperature measurements which would cause the system to run much long than needed. Installation was easy in my single stage natural gas heating and cooling system. I like being able to see if the system is running and the current temperature. I also like the usage feature that lets me know how long the system has been running during the day as a cumulative total. I would like to see the break-out of running times during the day, but that would require much more built-in memory. The Sensi 2 has up to 8 possible temperature set-points during the day, but you can have less. My utility company provided an added incentive with a cash rebate.

Great purchase and the app is a huge benefit to use from work or travel
Bought 2 of these and the sensors for my house with dual ac, works great, my units are no longer competing. Also I travel a lot and love the app, I can adjust the temps while im away if I forget before I leave. I did like the buy 2 discount as well.

Works well with internet access
Works really well. The installation guide left one step out of the programming and called the vendor for help. He walked me through the instructions again and found one slide switch was not correct. I asked him to make sure there was an addendum added to the manual

Good thermostat, but won’t connect to WiFi
Smaller than I had hoped it would be but still works fine. My only reservation is that I cannot connect it to WiFi. That, to me, is a minor inconvenience for and otherwise great product.

Love this thermostat which controls our heat (heat pump) & AC in an all electric home. It has only been installed for a couple of weeks. So far so good. Easy to install, easy to use and great looking. Connected seamlessly to the app. Much easier to navigate within the app than our older Honeywell unit. No problems with connectivity to date. Screen can be read from several feet away. Certainly a good value for the money.

I would not recommend it .I had a sensi touch smart thermostat installed a few weeks back with new heat pump and I was not happy with it because my Aux gas heat was used every morning to supplement heat when the heat pump was able to manage the temp with no issues .I decided to change it to Sensi touch 2. The key for me was to be able to access Aux lockout and balance point .To my surprise the settings are -4°C and -5°C and can not go any lower than that.My heat pump is build for very low temperatures down to -25°C I need to set it lower as I want to limit my gas usage. Maybe a software update can fix it?In addition I would like to suggest adding outside temp showing on the main screen of thermostat not only on phone app.After talking to tech support that is next to impossible to reach he also pointed out that my outside temperature was not available (on the termostat) but my internet connection is good . I’m in the process of replacing the thermostat as suggested by tech support but I have seen the same issue in comments and I think this is the problem with all of them . I will get replacement and check .If it does not work I will go with different brand name.UPDATE: second unit was the same. I got instructions to modify settings port forwarding in my router and this is a bit to much for me. Decided to go with ecobee instead and ….BOOM is fantastic . No issues and great settings . My gas never starts and I see weather on my main screen. Really no contest.
