Not Wood!
The tea caddy came in great condition and looks very nice. However, it is not wood. There was more wood in the cardboard box in which it came than there is this tea caddy. If it was a gift, I would absolutely send it back. But it’s for myself and it’s good enough. But there is nothing wood about this thing!

Looks great, good build quality
My girlfriend wanted something other than a plastic bag to hold our tea. This box does just that and looks a lot better than a plastic bag or general plain no design box. If you are crammed for cabinet space and have items stacked on top of the box, make sure you don’t put any heavy items on top because the lid is thin compared to the rest of the box.

The box is a good size , especially height for tea bag packets to stand easily.Love the design of box.Arrived with a piece broken off the side, likely damaged before sending as it was packaged in a secure box. It’s still functional and can’t be bothered with hassle to send back to overseas.

This is a lovely gift. I bought two of these boxes – one brown and one white. Beautiful detailing and design. However, the construction is a little flimsy. It’s very lightweight, thin wood. When we opened one of our boxes arrived, the wood had broken in transit (see picture), and I can’t seem to message the seller for a refund or replacement.
