An excellent choice for reducing plastic waste
I had been wanting to find a way to reduce my plastic waste from the grocery store and also have less plastic touching my food. These cotton bags accomplish both those things! I have been using them for about eight months and they work great. They have held up well in the washer. The variety of sizes is great for larger/smaller items. A few of the bags are a solid cotton material instead of mesh, which has turned out to be useful for some things (like seeds) that I buy in bulk.

machine wash and dry in one of the larger bags as needed. Have had 4 large grapefruit in the big bag, 4 apples in the mid-size bag, cucumbers fit well in the mid-size bag also, little bags are great for lemons…

Good product, but the cashier may hate you.
I love these thing, I take them with me every week. They are made well and hold up pretty well to even the heaviest vegetables. The only issue is that they are sort of hard to see through. I’ve had to get in the habit of memorizing what is in each one when I go to ring out, otherwise the cashier has to open every single bag to determine what is in them slowing down the line greatly.

Easy to use, tare weight on the side is great
I used these at new store and the tare weight on the packages were super helpful. The guy didn’t believe what I had on the preprinted tag (we have scales where you can enter the produce number and kick out a barcode for checkout). I showed him the tare wt on the label and sure enough the net produce weight matched. I also love that they are easy to stow in my reusabe bags and that I am using less plastic.

Saving my veggies
Before purchasing these, I kept my veggies in the store plastic bags. After switching to these, I have realized the plastic bags were the reason my veggies were going bad so quickly! Now my veggies last so much longer whether in the fridge or sitting out. If I could only remember to bring them to store with me every time.Update: around a year later, I’ve purchased a second set of these. Not because of any wear or defect in the original set, but simply because they are that good! I seeded more because I continue to use them but I’m now buying more veggies because they don’t go bad nearly as fast!

Guilt free produce
I love these reusable bags for produce at the grocery store.Machine washable.Now, if grocers (cashiers) could figure out how to tare the scales to compensation for the weight of the bag, we’d be good. Otherwise, the item has to be taken out to properly weigh it.We’ll get there.Would purchase this item again.

Good quality product. The sizes are useful. The cotton makes it a little harder to see what’s in the bag, but it is decent.
