A definite upgrade
We’ve been in our new home for a little over a year & I realized the doorknobs were in major need of a refresh. After all, it’s all in the details. Our bedrooms are located together at the end of the hall so I thought this set would make for a nice, cohesive look.The handles were super easy & straightforward to install, no surprises. They are well made, nice, heavy pieces as well. The one thing I find helpful when installing squared handle bases is having a small level. I rest the level on top of the square to make sure I’m keeping it straight while screwing everything in. You’d be surprised how much wiggle room there is & if you’re off.. it shows.I’m happy with the finished result. The handles are functioning well, they hold up to wear & tear nice, there’s no wiggle or anything (which is great when you’re dealing with kids who are hard on everything). They also stay nice & clean looking- no fingerprint smudges! The only thing I would change is the gold tone slightly. It’s very yellow & I would’ve preferred something just a touch less “harsh”, but I’m still happy with them overall.
