Excellent monitor with an aggressive power-saving mode
This is a wonderful, lightweight monitor with beautiful graphics. It was thoughtfully made, and I’m glad to have it.This monitor comes with three cables:* USB C (male) to USB C (male)* USB A (male, 2.0) to USB C (male)* HDMI (male) to mini HDMI (male)It also comes with:* A handsome dark-blue carrying case made from thick felt, with a Velcro clasp* A metal stand that’s sturdy and easily adjustable, but heavy* A soft cleaning cloth* A packet of four VESA screws, in case you want to mount your monitor* A pack of non-slip stickers for the back of the monitor* InstructionsThere are two ways you can use the monitor. You can either:(a) Use the USB C cable to connect the monitor to a USB C video port. This will power the monitor AND transmit the video image with just one cable. However, your computer must support video over USB C. Some computers have a data-only USB C port that won’t work with video. My computer DOES support video over USB C, and I can verify that this option works well.-OR-(b) Use the HDMI cable for the video signal. Connect the mini HDMI (male) end to the monitor, and the larger HDMI (male) end to your computer. This will transmit the video signal only; you’ll also need to use one of the two (provided) USB cables to connect to a female USB A or USB C power source capable of supplying at least 10 W at 5 V. You can use any USB C port as the power source, and most phone chargers will work nicely. I can verify that this *does indeed* work with my older HDMI computer. There is NO power supply included with the monitor, since most people won’t need one. If you don’t have a power supply of your own, and are counting on using one of the USB ports on your computer, then be aware: only a USB *C* port will work; your computer’s USB 2 or USB 3 ports are (probably) not capable of delivering enough power. (USB may provide as little as 2.5 W over USB 2, 4.5 W over USB 3, and 100 W over USB C. In some cases, a USB 3 port will exceed the specifications and CAN provide the full 10 W, but there’s no guarantee that this will work for you.)DIMENSIONS:The outer dimensions of the monitor are:0.5″ (at thickest part of the monitor case) x 8.75″ x 14″You can use these dimensions to decide if the monitor will fit in your travel bag or carrying case. Keep in mind that the monitor DOES come with a beautiful felt carrying case. The inner viewing area of the LCD screen is approximately:7.5″ x 13.25″SPECIFICATIONS:Note that the product specifications shown on Amazon are not entirely correct. (For example, the “max brightness” value is listed incorrectly on Amazon. The values below are taken from the product manual instead (YN02D_Stand_Portable_Monitor_Manual.pdf):Size: 15.6″Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (16:9)Screen type: IPSPanel type: TFTSurface: anti-glareViewing angle: 178 degrees x 178 degreesMax brightness: 280 cd/m^2Refresh rate: 60 HzColor gamut: 45% NTSCDisplay colors: 16.7 MContrast ratio: 1200:1Color temperature: 7000 KPixel pitch: 0.17925 x 0.17925ISSUES:The monitor has an aggressive power-saving mode. It will actually turn itself off during the few seconds it takes my computer to boot up–which obscures the whole boot-up process and makes it difficult to enter the BIOS. It’s not a *huge* problem; the monitor *does* wake up shortly, and then you can see everything. It is a minor annoyance. Also, there is no way to manually turn off the monitor! It turns itself off automatically shortly after your computer goes to sleep. Sometimes, I would like to turn the monitor off while the computer is still awake–and I can’t. You can only adjust the brightness, color, etc, using the buttons on the side, but you can’t turn the monitor off.*Also* related to the power-saving mode: when I put my computer to sleep, I’ll come back later to find a zillion “Display Settings” pop-up windows all notifying me that a new monitor has been detected. I used to have to close all of those windows manually, one by one, until I found out how to turn them off in the operating system. Other monitors don’t make me do this: it happens because of this monitor’s aggressive power saving mode.I am happy with the monitor in every single way, except one: I wish I could turn off its stupid power-saving mode. But now that I’ve disabled the “new monitor” notifications, it’s not really such a problem anymore…Note that this monitor is NOT a touch screen device, so it won’t respond if touched or rotated. It has no battery, so it must remain plugged into a power supply. It is a regular computer monitor–which is exactly what I wanted.

Great customer service
The monitor is great, it’s easy to adjust the screen, and with the brightness turned up it’s about the same as my imac monitor at 100% brightness. I use mine to extend the screen so I can drag videos onto the monitor and use my full computer screen for work. It works perfectly for this use, and didn’t require any setup other than plugging it in and choosing screen extending instead of mirroring in my settings. The usb-c cord that came with the monitor was sticking out too far for me to put the monitor in the corner of my desk where I had wanted to put it, so I reached out to Ingnok to ask them what type of 90′ cord I should get to replace it, and they responded within 1 day with an incredibly helpful message (they recommended a USB-C 3.1 or higher that supports video function) and even offered to verify that a cord would work before I purchased it if I sent them the link to the item! I don’t usually leave reviews for things, but I was so impressed with their customer service I had to this time. I highly recommend both the monitor & the brand, they were amazing.

Sweet travel toy
I bought this for my Samsung s21. It kicks butt. Save me from buying a laptop because it does about anything I wanted a laptop for. (Samsung DEX). You need to power the USB C power cord with an 18 watt power supply. I got an Anker battery Bank at Walmart and a 20W wall charger on Amazon. Very handy monitor. I also have a Luna gamepad, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Real Racing 3 is a good free example of gaming. Take the monitor cover sleeve to Walmart and find a backpack it will fit in. I rarely use the monitor base stand. I just find something to lean it on, like my Owala water bottle. If TSA wants it turned on, be ready with a travel battery pack to power it. It’s just a monitor with no batteries but an uninformed security guard may slow you down if you can’t turn it on. For that reason I don’t plan on flying with it. I can just plug my phone DEX into a hotel TV when I get there. But I’m sure it’s fine for travel

Great with some things to know
This monitor is a great value. Important to note that this display will power on to 50% brightness **every time** you power it on from a disconnected state. If you will want to have a bright display, its quick to change the setting, but this could be cumbersome. I’m surprised I didn’t see it mentioned before I bought.I also have only been able to get the included USB C cable working for video output, while my other cables (Apple official, other branded data-capable USB C cables, etc) will only power on the device. At least the included cables function as expected, and the mini HDMI will not give you issues with any source that USB C might, so there is great value in the flexibility even if it doesn’t perform 100% as expected. This one might be user error, but I have tested quite a number of official type-c cables so I’m really not sure.

Great screens for travel
Great lightweight traveling screens! I love that I do not have to add a power cord for them to work and use the power source from my laptop. Great for WFH or traveling workers that needs two screens (got an adapter that can use two c-ports and two HDMI cables)

Easy to setup, great picture quality.
We recently had to leave our house for about 6 weeks while our floors were being repaired. I work from home most of the week with an Mac Mini and a 32″ monitor. We were going to be in and out of hotels and airbnbs for most of it while also traveling out state, so I needed something simple and portable and that could fit in my backpack. The monitor quality is awesome, and the setup was super simple. I used a single cable for the image and to power the unit as well. Super simple, no need for a power cable!

Works very well!
This screen is easy to setup and configut, lightweight and doesn’t wash out in too badly in sunlight. I use it for traveling and it easily fits in carryon bags and weighs less than 2 pounds. I’ve only used it for a week so far so good.

Just started using the extra display today and everything appears to be functioning well. Can toggle back and forth between my laptop to extend the display there to this monitor as well as to my S22 Ultra to use the monitor as a full display. 1080p great looking picture. Two complaints: the speakers are very quiet even at maximum volume, so I wouldn’t use those. You can use headphones, but again, it isn’t very loud at all. I would just use your laptop speakers, your cell phone speakers or even to Bluetooth connect to a different set of speakers from your phone. The stand is alright, just doesn’t raise it high enough off the desk for me, but it does work very well if you don’t mind having it that low. It’s just too low to have at the same height as my laptop screen as it is on a stand. Other than those two things, the monitor is great and I would recommend it for it’s price just knowing the sound limitations (which realistically, most wouldn’t be looking at a monitor for it’s sound quality, so that’s why I still give it 5 stars.)

This is a fantastic secondary slave screen which is portable enough to be able to fit into a laptop bag. The quality for the price paid is fantastic.

I’m old enough to remember when China had a reputation for mass-producing shoddy stuff. Those days are long gone. The quality of the goods manufactured in China is extraordinary. This monitor is a good example. It weighs 1.4 pounds, is a quarter of an inch thick, and comes with a stand and a travel envelope and two connection cables, and it is big enough to be a second monitor for my iMac and my MacBook Air. To install, just plug it into a powered USB-C port. No other cords necessary. No setup required, beyond telling my computer I have two display screens.I do a lot of work writing and reviewing documents, and a second screen is a great convenience. I found working from the small screen of a MacBook Air to be difficult, but now I’ll travel with both the laptop and this monitor. When I’m in my office, I connect it to my iMac, and I’m in business. All that convenience and flexibility for $190. I’m delighted.

Quality of screen was great. Same as my work laptop screen. It’s matte. Comes with two cables -1 for the game consoles like PS5, Xbox, Switch etc. and the other for my MacBook and PC Lenovo work laptop. It’s slim. Lightweight. Easy to use. Uses power source from main device.Comes with a load of instructions and warranty cards.I’ll report back when I have more time to use and experience this in full. So far works great with no lag or delays on my PC and Mobile phone (Pixel 9).
