Fresh from the Shire!!
I’ve gotten a couple of outside solar fairy houses in the past but this one is by far the best! The detail of the house is on pointe, the colors they used to paint it are perfect and the solar light works like clockwork! It’s so cute and charming and looks great with my other garden lights!

Wonderful product that shines brightly all night. I was initially sent a house and the lights were not functioning. The seller reached out to ensure all was ok and when I let them know of issue they shipped me another free of charge. Communication and shipment very prompt and courteous. “Resin” as a molding/sculpting material is often touted as something special, as a significant feature. Maybe it’s the sound of the word – rrresssinnn… But it’s just clay or chalk and plastic blended. Definity very easily moldable and supports detailed design, and once dry, fairly solid and not too heavy.So our resin fairy cottage – as stated here many times, it is very cute. My first thought was Hobbit hole, and I’m not the only one. This is a very nice piece for adding to a diorama or any garden as a decoration or accent piece. The solar cell on back is unobtrusive to the look of the little house, charges quickly, and provides light through the night (illuminating the house from within, like someone is home).The look and style is rustic, like a country craft, the paintjob is a bit uneven – the door on mine looks very haphazardly painted when the house is lit and glowing; you can see the careless brushstrokes and how thinly the paint was applied – I’m going to have to touch this up. The texturizing however is pretty great – the roof and the “stonework” look and feel fantastic.The big downside to the internal lighting is that you can see clearly into the sculpt’s interior and there has been zero effort made to do anything with this – it’s raw, rough resin, not even glazed. Like a prison cell and spoils the illusion. Don’t look inside.In the garden, place in a level and well sunlight spot, free of overhangs and long shadows. Be prepared for charm and a warm glow. Just don’t go peeking into any windows.

Not impressed
The idea of a little “gnome home” sitting in your garden is cute, and the general appearance of this little resin house is as well. It’s painted decently enough. However, after charging in direct sunlight for more than 8 hours – this one came uncharged – it does not light. It was wrapped in a plastic bag and placed in a cutout styrofoam insert inside a plain brown carton which could have been better in quality, so packaging could definitely been more suitable to gift giving. Not impressed.
