It’s almost perfect! One wash update
I purchased the 3’x5’ rug. We have it in front of the doggie door for our 2 dogs. We have standard poodles, so not small dogs. Also not “frilly,” as some would believe. Mud is their favorite. Yay. We’ve also recently had several rounds of severe weather and rain.I’ve had this rug down for maybe just over a week now. I can definitely tell it has decreased the amount of grass and paw prints on our floor. There was some grass and dirt beneath the rug when I cleaned, but at least it was confined to one spot. That could be related to my child. I then shook the rug outside and was amazed at how much debris it had caught! There have been no visible muddy prints on the rug or floor (I ordered the dark gray).This rug is actually pretty heavy. It does not slide around on the floor, but there are occasional wrinkles. Not surprising since our dogs are 60lb each. They jump through the door at the speed of an Indy 500 car. It’s ridiculous.Overall, I highly recommend at this point. I’m hoping my opinion won’t change after washing. If it does, I will update my review.Update regarding cleaning:The first time I cleaned this rug, I attempted to do so with an outdoor hose. I assumed it would be too heavy for the washer once wet. After 2 solid days of hanging outside, the rug was still retaining water. Granted, those days were partly cloudy and mid to high 60’s, but still. The second time I decided it was no heavier than a full load of wet towels, so to the washer it went. I ran a “normal” cycle, and set to prewash. I used regular detergent and put vinegar in the prewash part of the dispenser (thanks, dog vomit). The washer ran perfectly fine. It didn’t register as an unbalanced load at all. On to drying. I tried permanent press on cool. That did nothing, so I set to normal with medium heat. Within30 minutes the rug is dry, without much lint in the screen, and backing is still 100%. Still loving it. Still tapping a ton of dirt dragged in by my pooches.

Works, but a pain to keep flat on the floor
Rug absorbs a lot of the dirt, but absolutely does not stay in place. I have to adjust this rug every time my dogs walk on it. Their favorite thing to do is wad it up in a ball on the floor.

Great placemat for our JRT- stays in place, soft and comfortable! He loves it – keeps him from slipping on our tile floor!

Love these. Bought another right after my first one arrived. They’re great at catching and trapping a good deal of dirt (though they’re not miracle workers by any means; if it’s super muddy and the pups run over it they still track mud-prints throughout the house). I keep one by the door and one at the top of my stairs to trap dirt tracked from the main floor before it spreads to the second. Very durable – have survived multiple washes and come out like new each time. The nubs (don’t know what else to call them) are plentiful and dense which is where this product in particular outshines cheaper versions, which are sparse and less dense and become trampled and useless once walked on a few times.

Da diese “Wischmops” im Gegensatz zu vielen Anderen KEINE Gummierte Unterseite haben, kann man die auch einfacher waschen und in den Trockner tun. Sie sind trotzdem Rutschsicher. dies durch etwas im Faden eingenähtes. Nicht davon bröselt in der Waschmaschine oder im Trockner ab. Hab schon mehrere dieser Teppiche , auch im Auto, da unserer Fritzi untenrum oft Nass oder Feucht ist, nach einem Waldspaziergang.Weiterer grosser Vorteil. Ist Quasi Geruchslos wenns ankommt. Man kann ihn also sofort benutzen und muss ihn nicht erstmal zum Lüften eine Woche auf den Dachboden hängen.
