First, a disclaimer: I received this pillow cover as part of the Amazon Vine program, but always review as though I’d paid full price. This cover represents a good value, especially as squirrels can be hard to find in home decor.You’ll find that many, if not most, of Amazon’s selection of graphic pillow covers are printed on a soft canvas-type material. This is one of those. The background color is a soft white. Construction is average; long stitches, no overcasting (I’ve never had trouble with this fabric fraying, however), and the invisible zipper should be treated with some care– though again I’ve never had one break. My experience with laundering these covers is that they launder well without fading (use cool water and low dryer heat) and look good year to year.What excites me (besides the squirrel, of course) is that these bright spring colors beautifully compliment my other spring textiles. They’re less “pastel” than I expected (which is good) and the graphic is printed sharply (given that it’s a watercolor-style image). Very cute.A note about size: 18×18 is a somewhat firm fit for my 20″ Ikea feather inserts. I also use 20″ covers for a softer, slightly larger pillow. Either is fine, depending on what you want. I generally mix-and-match them for layering.

Turtle pillow cover.
Very nice pillow cover. Thick and sturdy canvas-like fabric. Invisible zipper. Fits over the pillow insert just fine. I’m glad I got this, it was a good value. The colors are bright and the turtle is just adorable.
