Remote Control: To enable HomeKit remote control, you need a HomePod, an Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, or an iPad. Set any of these Apple devices in your house as a HomeKit bridge and connect it to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Keep in mind that once your HomeKit bridge is set up, it has to be kept online. If it is powered off or disconnected from the Wi-Fi, it will fail to respond when you intend to control the device remotely.
Voice Control: You can control your devices hands free, just give voice commands to turn on/off the connected devices. Compatible with Apple HomeKit, Apple Watch, Siri, Carplay, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant.
Compact Size: Smart plug occupies only one socket, the device allows you to stack two mini smart plugs in the same outlet, which is convenient and practical.

Awesome Smart Plug
I am so glad I purchased this item. I have had several good uses for it. First off my father is elderly and not able to get up and down as easily. I was able to put this on some of his lamps and now he just tells Alexa to turn the lamp on or off. Great to know that I do not have to worry that he is going to fall down just going to turn off a lamp. The other benefit that I have for this product is the coffee maker. Being that I do not necessarily wake up at the same time so using a maker with a timer is not convenient. I now set up the coffee maker and plug it in. As soon as I wake up I tell Alexa to turn on the coffee and by the time I dress and get to the kitchen the coffee is made. You can also use the Meross app and set the outlet with a specific time to come on and it is the same as a coffee maker with a timer, no need to buy a new coffee maker just to have a timer function.I high recommend these for some one who is looking for the convenience of using Alexa to turn something on or off.

Headache free and reliable extensions to the reach of your HomeKit
I have about a dozen of these plugs and kept coming back based on my experience with Meross’ simplicity and reliability. These plugs offer an excellent HomeKit solution for making dumb devices smart. Also, the low profile allows more than one per outlet plate, which is great (and less common than you’d think). Response time is consistently near instant (via HomeKit or Siri) and super reliable with next to no instances of these plugs bouncing off-line (the solution is simply to unplug and re-plug). Pairing to HomeKit is simple and quick. At their low price point these are an excellent solution to enhance your smart home ecosystem with devices that would otherwise not be possible – heaters, heated blankets, water fountains, white noise machines, coffee machines, lamps, fans, you name it – as long as the device resumes its setting after power interruption. I have some more creative solutions in my home too, such as using shortcuts to activate these plugs when another smart home devices acts as a trigger.I also HIGHLY recommend the Meross garage door openers – they have been headache free and the very best solution after having tried literally four other brands.

Very Easy Setup worked right away
Super Easy to Setup works perfectly right in Home Kit. I set up the switch a couple of weeks ago and it has not missed. It seems to be working very well. I moved to this brand now for all our Apple HomeKit switches.

Cheap, but Flaky and Inconsistent Operation
I have a Leviton smart plug-in outlet I’ve used for a couple years, and it’s consistently worked as advertised. I wanted something with HomeKit so tried these out for the price and good reviews. They seemed easy enough to setup with the Meross app including a firmware update and adding them to HomeKit was easy enough. They worked for a couple weeks then I woke up one night to find all the connected lights on, every outlet that had them was unresponsive and couldn’t be controlled.I spent an hour removing them all from the home, resetting them, and trying repeatedly to get them to work. They worked, at least to turn them on and off, in the Meross app, but the point was Apple Home app integration. I already had a manufacturer-only app I had to use for the Leviton outlet. I finally got them readded to Home, but the automations seem to work on one and not the other. I was going to give up and tried one more time tonight. Deleted them all, reset them, readded one – everything seemed fine except it was immediately unresponsive in Home. I’m over messing with these.Unfortunately, I didn’t keep the box after a few weeks, or I’d look to return them. You get what you pay for I guess, but I put my old Leviton unit back in, which happily continued to work just fine, and I’ll explore other options if I’m still interested. Yes, all the devices had the latest firmware, iOS etc. Based on the reviews you may have a better experience but based on mine, I cannot recommend this product.

I genuinely love these Meross smart plugs! They’re incredibly easy to set up, work flawlessly with both Alexa and Google Home, and the app is simple and intuitive. Solo reconocen redes 2.4, si solo tienes wifi 5ghs debes activar la 2.4, si tu ruteador manda las dos con el mismo SSID, apaga temporalmente la 5, tu celular debe estar en esa misma red; ya configurado me ha funcionado bastante bien y sin problema.No necesitas la App Meross del fabricante, iOS los reconoce con solo escanear el QR.

They were super easy to set up with my iPhone, and the app walks you through everything step-by-step. I had all 4 connected and working within minutes!The plugs work perfectly with Apple HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Assistant, which is great since I use different devices around the house. Bought 4 pack smart plug to use for iPhone/iPad HomeKit.Used for 2.5 months in my bedroom which has a radio-controlled ceiling fan fixture.At the 1st day. I immediately register all 4 plugs into HomeKit, but only plug in 1 unit to use in the 1st week.At the sleeping time at a winter night, the fan turn on by itself and everyone in the bedroom was cold to death. I woke up due to extreme coldness, and turn off the fan. Hours later, the room is getting very cold again. Surprisingly the fan got turn on again. For weeks days, I though this was caused by low battery in the remote control so it is randomly turning on the fan. To eliminate it, I remove its battery, and thinking we will have a “peaceful” night of sleep after weeks of annoying sleep interruption.Unluckily, the problem continue…. fan turn on itself and bedroom became very cold until everyone woke up. With many family argument, panic, confusion, finger pointing under influence of sleeping disorder, I finally narrow down to Meross smart plug. Removed it for a night, and surprisingly the fan didn’t turn on. Every regain their energy with a good sleep.Subsequently, I tested the rest of the 3 Meross smart plugs. Everyone of them are randomly turn on the fan. 1 of them even turn on the fan within 2 min after plugin.E-mail Meross Support, and received their reply next day. After few days of daily e-mail exchange, they asked me to conduct almost 2 months of testing to confirm their product design issue that is causing radio interference with my radio-controlled fan. The only thing they are doing are flashing with 2 diff firmware version with me testing the smart plugs one by one. The support turnaround time is satisfying, but the end result is not desirable.I like their product, as its plastic feel good, no connectivity issue after power lost, long range, HomeKit register easily consistently.As I get frustrated after 2+ months of testing, and occasionally they deny their plug is causing the interference, I asked for following:1. exchange with other HomeKit plug model2. pay more money to exchange with other HomeKit plug model3. full refundFinally, they refund 60% to me while still insist their plug design is flawless. Furthermore, they indicated that even if I buy other smart plug product that continue to cause my fan to turn on, they won’t refund me anymore.In other to confirm myself that it is their plug issue, I bought another smart plug (not Meross). Plug in the same smart plug into the same power output, and powering the same device, the fan doesn’t randomly turn on. So it is clearly their smart plug is doing that to my fan.I don’t totally agree that Meross plug design is flawless by comparing it with other smart plug. However, many residential home fixture are using poor quality radio-controlled product. In my case, my radio-controlled fan is not clearly listed the manufacturer name, model, radio freq, dbm, range, EMF, etc. So the root cause could be my fan’s manufacturer problem by picking a radio-control module that has flaw.I am giving Meross 4 star as they do a 60% refund and their support is responding daily with 2 attempts with 2 diff firmware ver. The plug can still usable, but just not in my bedroom.
