How to configure lock for left handed door
The knob ships for right-handed configuration. It is possible to swap sides so that the key is in the correct vertical orientation on a left-handed door, but no instructions are included, and the ten or so YouTube videos I watched did not apply to this model. Read on to flip the lock cylinder, it’s quite straightforward. Find the included Allen key in the box. On the keyed side, unscrew the set screw (right hand thread, so turn counterclockwise) and remove the handle. You should see the key mechanism. Using some needle nose pliers or a thin screwdriver, pry the E-clip away from the assembly. The key lock should fall out. Invert it and put it back. Reassemble. (Much easier than removing spindles and buying the special tool like most YouTube videos suggest!)Note that if you are flipping the door handle on the knob (not the key) side, the set screw is a left hand thread!! Turn it COUNTERclockwise to screw it IN to the housing to free the handle. I have some choice words for the designers…Aside from that, great kit, it has all the parts you need and two keys. Easy to install.

So modern and stylish
We are seeking our house and our realtor suggested we replace all the brass door handles with something more modern. I should have done this when we moved in 17 years ago. It really makes things look more modern and gets rid of that 90s vibe when brass fixtures were the thing. The house looks much more modern and appealing, especially since doorhandles are the first thing your eye is drawn to because you’re reaching for them. Do yourself a favor and give your house a facelift by using these door handles. You will love them.

Small change results in a big change.
There are 3 pictures attached. The first is the old lever handle. (Brass). I installed those 8 years ago.The other two pictures are the new matte black lever handles installed on a “Brite White” door. (Contrast is striking).COMMENTSThe old levers were solid metal. New are not.The old lever is NOT reversible. The new are.The old levers had to be purchased “open right or open left). New do not. YAY!!What defines…reversible? Each handle has a small set screw that secures it to the rod that works the lock mechanism. Unscrew, remove handle, rotate to desired position, screw down. Easy.There are no instructions included. PDF in item specs.TIME TO REMOVE OLD AND INSTALL NEW…..27 minutes. (It was the first install).Very pleased with purchase and the updated look.

Perfect for closet doors
I ordered these dummy handles to go in my mudroom on closet doors. Since the closet doors are so close to my front door, I wanted the handles to be similar. This was a great affordable option – such great quality for the price. They are seemingly light weight and extremely easy to install.

This matt black handle is compact and beautifully designed – the weight and feel makes it look far more expensive than it actually cost. The handy keyless lock is also very useful and adds to the modern look. I did have a handyman install it for me which was done within 30 minutes. No buyers remorse – a good find !
