Feel Broke, Act Rich — These Smart Plugs Are My Power Move
I’m poor, live in a tiny apartment, and still feel like a damn tech mogul every time I casually say, “Alexa, start my AC — both bedroom and living room,” or “turn on warming candle,” while out with friends. Their eyes glaze over like I just activated a private jet. These Kasa plugs? Straight-up status symbols for underdogs. No hub, no mess — just plug, name, and boom, magic. Was I nervous about sparks or cheap build? Sure. But months in, no overheating, no failed connection, just solid performance. UL certified and hasn’t let me down once. Now I want to automate more, but I’m out of ideas. What else can I control? Coffee maker? Disco ball? Therapy lamp? For real, if you’re reading this, drop suggestions. I want to push this bougie illusion as far as it’ll go.

These Smart Plugs are Smarter Than Me—and I Have a College Degree
I bought the Kasa Smart Plug HS103P4 thinking I’d use one or two and forget about the rest. WRONG. These things are addictive. I now control more of my home from my phone than a Bond villain with a control panel. Lights? Boom—off. Coffee maker? On before I even roll out of bed. Christmas tree? I summoned holiday cheer with my voice like some kind of festive wizard.Setup was so easy I thought I missed a step. (I didn’t. They’re just that simple.) The app is smoother than a jazz saxophone, and scheduling my lamp to turn on at sunset has convinced my dog that ghosts are real. Also, there’s something oddly satisfying about shouting, “Hey Google, turn off the living room!” and watching it obey like I’ve finally ascended to smart home royalty. No hub? No problem. These plugs are like the Swiss Army knife of laziness. UL certified too, so they’re not just smart—they’re safe, which is important because I don’t trust myself to not start a fire with my toaster. In conclusion: 10/10, would automate my life again. Buy them before they become self-aware and unionize.

    Easy and reliable smart plugs
These smart plugs work great. We like to have lights on throughout our condo when we arrive home. The amazing thing is how easy they are to operate. The app allows us to change the times that the lights are on or turn them off remotely. These have been very reliable. So much easier than old mechanical timers.

Works GREAT with Home Assistant “integration”!!!!!
Purchased with specific intent to integrate with my Home Assistant control.TP-Link / Kasa support told me their plugs would NOT work with HA.However, there is an “Integration” in HA for TP-Link.I already had the Kasa app for a smart switch, and when I plugged these in, they were swiftly recognized and easily set up in the app. Then installed TP-Link integration in HA, searched, instantly set up and was controlling it with Home Assistant :-)These plugs are about 25% shorter on long axis than my GoSung plugs from a few years ago. Very nice compact design.Cons:… None? Dang I realllllly appreciate it’s compactness and easy integration!-Just tall enough to block use of another thick plug in some dual or multi outlet cases. However, all smart plugs are like this, as it needs to fit a 5v AC/DC converter, a reed relay, microcontroller and WiFi card in the compact volume.Bottom Line is I am an instant fan and grateful it worked EASILY for my intended purpose with Home Assistant “integration”, and would not hesitate to recommend or buy more if needed.

Works well, helps me shut off hard to reach devices with my voice
Big fan of TPLink’s Kasa products. I also use TPLink Deco mesh so I can control the devices either in the Kasa app or the Deco app after they’ve been initially setup in the Kasa app. Quick response time, even when using home assistants like Alexa or Google Home. I’ve used Kasa products for over 5 years now and I have never had any of them fail, their products seem well built. As for ease of use, it couldn’t be easier, there’s one button on the device for all functions. As long as you are comfortable using apps to configure devices you can’t go wrong.

    Quick and easy setup
Bought a four pack outlet; primarily for scheduling the pool pump ON/OFF timer. Installation and setup were a breeze.Use the other outlets for lamps around the home with schedules, and again installation and setup were a breeze.
