Excellent Smart Bulbs – We Switched Our Whole Home
After trying out a few different smart bulb brands over the years, Kasa has become our go-to. These bulbs are reliable, affordable, and packed with features. The setup was quick through the Kasa app, and the integration with Alexa works flawlessly—we can change colors, dim lights, or set schedules all through voice or the app.The color-changing options are vibrant, and the dimming is smooth without any flickering, which makes a huge difference in different rooms throughout the day. Whether we’re relaxing with soft lighting in the evening or using bright daylight settings in the kitchen, the bulbs adjust beautifully.One of the biggest wins for us is consistency—we’ve replaced most lights in the house with Kasa bulbs, and they all stay connected, respond instantly, and allow for easy grouping and automation. These are great so far. Setup was easy and fast. I like the app interface alot too. The dim scale on these are way better than the Feit ones, in my opinion; I always felt like Feit’s 1-5% dim was way too bright, but Kasa’s is perfect. My only complaint is that I feel like the Kasa red setting is a bit too orange, and there doesn’t seem to be an option on the color circle for a more intense red. I usually sleep with red on at night, so I’m a tiny bit disappointed. Orangey red is nice too, though, just not as relaxing for me.

The colors are good and they are very bright.The Kasa app it tells you to use is very good. Definitely the best smart lighting control app I have ever used, but I don’t think it supports any products outside of the brand and I wasn’t able to get these bulbs to connect to other apps.The connection process is very simple and it holds your hand through every step. the app will bring you to the wifi screen to connect to one of the bulbs temporary wifi hotspot, then you go back to the app and it will ask you to connect to your wifi. Then it does the rest for you.Will buy again

Good bulbs—but not for Apple users
These Kasa smart bulbs are solid if you’re deep into the Alexa or Google Home ecosystem. Setup is fast through the Kasa app, the colors are bright and accurate, and the scheduling and automation features work smoothly. Dimming is clean, no flicker, and the app interface is user-friendly with plenty of scene options. The bulbs themselves feel well-made and responsive over Wi-Fi.But here’s the catch: they don’t support Apple HomeKit. I ended up switching to a HomePod mini after ordering these, and that basically made the bulbs useless for me. Without Matter or native HomeKit support, there’s no clean way to integrate them into Apple’s smart home system unless you want to run third-party bridges or workarounds—which I didn’t.So, if you’re an Alexa or Google user, this is a great buy. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, skip it and get something Matter-compatible. I returned mine for that reason alone.

Very easy to install. Install on kasa app and once integrated with alexa, everything from kasa automatically works with alexa. Great quality. Perfect brightness and colors. Great value. I have these bulbs in every room. When I say alexa turn all lights blue, the entire house turns blue. Awesome. Next is to set them up to change with music. Fun! Easily set up routines.

KASA GETS IT RIGHT AGAIN
These are the latest KASA smart items I use daily. I had to replace a set of Sengled bulbs that lost their “smarts” after a power outage. I missed voice control even though I could still switch them on. The “everything is made in the same fab in China, the only difference is the software” holds especially true here.KASA smart products are my favorite in my very smart house. Easy to set-up, made easier by virtue of the app already populated by the other KASA products, and their superior software that has never given me any problems with years of use and many different products.

Ive used a decent amount of smart light bulb brands. These are by far the best. They work in settings they definately should not. These worked in an e11 to e26 conversion kit. These work with my standard dimmer without dying a terrible death in less than a week. I still have to set the dimmer to 100%, but this is a dimmer without an on off so they start from low power and amp up, which generally kills smart bulbs in like… a week…Adding them is super fast and easy. They work with google and alexa quite well once you set up some names that google doesnt mishear and try to do something random…I have like 50 of these in my house and only 1 of them have died and that was after the transformer exploded during a thunderstorm. The others were fine. So I am assuming their power tolerance is just much better than an average smart light that just break if they brown out or surge for even a second.

Buen producto, el brillo es menor al de LloydsSmart y no se puede programar una escena para que cambie automáticamente de colores pero en general muy bien. Al principio cuesta un poco de trabajo aprender los pasos para vincular pero después es muy muy rápido y sencillo (en primer lugar debes estar conectado a la red a la que se conectará el dispositivo, luego abres la app, agregas dispositivo/seleccionas la red del dispositivo (es una referencia que te aparecerá en la lista de redes) / seleccionas red de casa escribes la contraseña (es lo que se almacenará en el foco para que se pueda conectar en caso de corte de energía) y listo

Al principio todo funciona sin problemas, se pudo instalar y Alexa respondía a todos los comandos de voz, al siguiente día dejo de trabajar con alexa, solo se podían utilizar con la aplicación del fabricante, el problema es la skill, ya que hice la prueba con Google assistant y funcionaban sin problemaPara solucionar el problema de comunicación con alexa, hice lo siguiente;1. Instalé la app smartthings2. En la parte superior en el signo de + agregas un nuevo dispositivo3. Selecciona dispositivo4. Opción dispositivos/sensores iluminación5. Se busca la opción tp link kasa smart6. Dispositivos compatibles7. Wifi bulb kl1208. Le asignas ubicación y sala dentro de tu hogar9. Siguiente y el sistema buscará tus dispositivos instalados10. Instala la skill smartthings en Alexa11. Reconoce los dispositivos12. ListoAl parecer con esto el problema queda resuelto, veo que el problema de enlace con alexa lo han tenido varios, espero que les ayude esta solución
