Small but it does its job.
I never had a filing system, so I bought this to get things started. I love how I can buy a small lock to keep my sensitive documents secured and safe. It’s a very simple and small filing bin. Not meant to keep a lot papers. I do see myself having to buy a bigger one.

I bought this (and some other more fun stuff) for my son’s 18th birthday. I equipped it with hanging files that are labeled …. It had his birth certificate, social security card, banking stuff, medical records, car stuff (insurance, maintenance, DMV. Etc… ) and so much more … “his adult box”. It’s so handy to teach him what everything is for and why it’s important to stay organized. He knows to grab his box in the even of a natural disaster… it’s been a great ongoing teaching tool. A few months after his birthday, he told me this was the best gift he ever received.

Functional but mediocre
I bought this to replace one I’d purchased several years ago that was stolen. This is the same model and brand but disappointing. The quality of the plastic is poor. I’m not sure I would even trust the handle to carry the box if it was full if papers, like mine was in the past. The tray seems different but maybe it’s just the cheaper plastic that makes me think so.It has room inside for several folders which is what I need. It’s portable so I can take my work home with me. The clasp closes securely and there’s a place to put a small padlock.Considering the cost of file boxes like this, it’s still a good deal.
