Easy set up with quality printing
After reading reviews I was pretty much okay with buying this model but did have some concerns from a couple of remarks. It arrived yesterday and nearly set itself up! Printing is easy. Yes, it seems to think (process) before it starts spitting out the printed items but it’s not long at all. People need patience!! I was a little leery about putting the ink cartridges in, but I had step to step illustrations and instructions on the internet, so followed those. Almost didn’t need them though as it was so easy. One thing I didn’t realize but learned from reading reviews, perhaps conflicting brands can cause issues but I have an HP all in one so the two of them worked well together. I am pleased with the printed product as well. Keep in mind, I use this for home use only. The instant ink program seems like a decent offer as well so I will give that a go. Overall, I am very happy with this printer as I wanted all 4 features. Print, Scan, Copy, Fax My last HP printer lasted 12+ years. Hoping the same with this one.

how to do a factory reset
This is the first HP PRINTER that I can not get set up, and HP IS THE only printer I use/buy.I can not link to wi-fi and am dead in the setup water. I did the troubleshooting and went to another wifi location. Can not link up and finish the setup.I searched for a factory reset, thinking if I could get back to the beginning and start over.Nothing. If I can not get the printer set up I will not get to see how it performs.Update: I made contact with Amazon. Amazon provided an outstanding resolution. Thank you

Reliable and Efficient Printer for Home Office Use
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e has been a great addition to my home office setup. It’s easy to set up and connect wirelessly, which makes printing from multiple devices super convenient. The print quality is sharp and vibrant, whether I’m printing documents or photos.I also appreciate the versatility—scanning, copying, and faxing all work smoothly, and the automatic document feeder (ADF) saves me time when handling multi-page jobs. Duplex printing is a bonus for reducing paper use, and the printer runs quietly during operation. The included 3-month Instant Ink trial was a nice touch to get started without worrying about ink right away. Overall, this printer delivers professional-quality results and is perfect for anyone needing a reliable all-in-one device for their home office.

HP does it again – ever reliable
I recently got the HP 8130e, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home office. The printing is super clear, the colors pop beautifully on paper, and it prints quickly – no more waiting around! It also has a sleek design and is lightweight, making it easy to move around or store on a cart if needed. Setting it up was simple! There are instructions included, but honestly, if you’re even halfway tech-saavy, you won’t need them. It took approximately 15 minutes to set it all up, from opening the box to print – ready. The look is sleek and modern. There is a pull out paper tray and the location where the ink cartridges are is the same as other HP printers, you just gently pull the white facing (both next to the lights and next to the label) toward you and voila! Opened! It also holds a sufficient amount of paper for what the printer is designed for, so you should not need to reload constantly. Connecting it to my network was seamless, and I love how quickly it synced with all my devices. Now I can print from my computer, laptop, tablet, or phone without any hassle. I also signed up for the instant ink and paper subscription that came with three months free. I’m really excited about this feature – it’s super convenient knowing I’ll never run out of ink because it’ll arrive ahead of time, and the price is very reasonable. Great for people who procrastinate on buying things! As a heads up if you’ve never used HP+ before, when you sign up for it (which is totally optional), HP requires you to have an HP account (obvious), but they also require you to maintain an ongoing connection to the internet AND use only Original HP ink cartridges for the life of the printer. While I do this anyway, I do think it’s extremely important for anyone who is interested in trying out HP+ that there is no going back once you sign up, so your printer will only work after signing up if you do those things. No biggie for most I’m sure, but always good to know! All in all, I’m very happy with this printer and highly recommend it!

Good, not great home office printer
The HP Officejet Pro 8135e is a multifunction all-in-one inkjet printer that is suitable for most home office applications. The printer is compact yet does have all the features that most users would expect; print, scan, copy and fax. The printer also contains an automatic document feeder.Set-up was fairly simple with the necessary application, though I don’t like that it is required to continue to have the app to get full usage of the printer. This model also came with a bonus of 3 months of ‘Instant Ink’, another thing that you need the application for. It’s a monthly subscription service that seems good in theory, as it would eliminate the need to worry about ink running out, but also, you’re paying for a service for ink that you may never need. Also, I don’t like that this is basically giving HP access to monitor all of the documents that I scan and/or print all in the guise of convenience. The other thing about this printer is that it requires the use of only HP branded and chipped cartridges, so if you were thinking that an aftermarket cartridge may be in your future plans, that won’t work with this printer leaving your only budget-friendly option as the questionable subscription service. After set-up, the initial test sheet to align the printer heads and several prints after were not printed on a single sheet as the printer would grab several sheets at a time. That is both time and product-consuming and frustrating. One thing that it did do that was rather impressive was clear a paper jam nearly on its own. After notifying of the paper jam with instruction to open the tray, the printer kicked out the sheet. The printer and scanner speeds are about average for inkjet printers and suitable for most home offices.

I’m really impressed with this printer! It can print from anywhere in the house, which is super convenient. The installation process was quick and easy, and it fits well in compact spaces — it’s small but not too small, which is perfect for my setup. The only downside is that the paper tray is a bit shallow. If you print often, you’ll need to refill the paper more frequently than I’d like. Other than that, it’s a fantastic printer that does everything I need.Highly recommend this printer — especially for those looking for space-saving options and seamless printing from anywhere in the house!

There was very little ink in the cartridges. Then when I replaced the cartridges with new HP cartridges, the printer gave error messages for the red cartridge as being missing/damages. I replaced with another red cartridge which HP sent me, but it took a long time to come! The message is still the same and so I’ve been without a printer for a long time now. I want my money back!

    Working well so far.

  9. Ontario Canada Client Review

The quality of this hp printer to my last one is much better. What I find significantly worse is the speed to send a simple recipe from my phone to print… what used to take 3-5 seconds takes a minute or more pending the size of the file. Sometimes I’ve cancelled a print because I don’t have time to wait. I’ve had no issues with connectivity or maintaining that connection.

It has some weight, I carried it home from the postal outlet, driving is smarter! Replacing a much older model that died. The setup is a little different, use the online helps. The format for scans is different. The image is better. A multi-page scan will produce a scan for each page and not one long multi-page the old machine produced. Generally good thinking, you might put a post-it note on the machine in plain view with your Wifi code so others can get their devices linked without chasing after you again and again.
