It really is skid resistant
I bought it to cover the section of a wood floor that has gotten badly scratched from moving my desk chair back and forth from my computer. I tried to match the color as closely as I could to the rug already covering most of the floor. In both cases it worked perfectly. It’s not exactly pretty, but it does what I need it to do.

Love these rugs
I have been looking for the perfect rugs since we remodeled our kitchen in August, 2012, adding hardwood floors to the kitchen and dining area. I bought one of these rugs, actually to put on a new leather sofa to protect it from pets. It didn’t work for that as the backing was too stiff. I realized it was the perfect rug for my kitchen and dining area as it is non-skid, but the top is textured and very soft. I ended up purchasing 4 more of these rugs in various sizes – having all the size options was great for me. These rugs don’t slide and they are very comfortable to walk on in your bare feet. I have cats, so yes, every rug I own ends up with cat hair. These rugs vacuum up very nicely. They are heavy enough to use a really high suction vacuum, such as mine, without moving, and the cat hair comes right up. I highly recommend them.

Compliments the 3′ x 10′
It’s a simple 2′ x 3′ throw rug, that matches the 3′ x 10′ runner that we purchased, for the same area, but this one covers a tile floor in teh laundry area between the garage and entryway, where the entryway is where the 3’x10′ one goes…So, they compliment/complete what we wanted.They are skid resistant, but they don’t stick to the floor. They stay put enough and weigh enough you can use a cheap vacuum on them. I say cheap, because if you have a vacuum that has a LOT of suction, obviously it could eat it for lunch, but our cheap $50 bagless unit from Walmart doesn’t. (We go cheap due to 4 cats…lots of hair and dander…that will eat up a nice vacuum in no time! 10 new cheap ones, or 1 expensive one…hmm)Sorry…off tangent…It’s a throw-rug! Buy it, put it somewhere, it seems good for the money!

just what I needed
I purchased this 6×9 rug to lay over new wall to wall carpeting in my son’s bedroom. Because I felt my son was ruining our new wall to wall carpeting while eating in his room with his friends and doing projects at his desk I had to do something to save it. Tried carpet remnants, but they just moved around and would not stay in place. This rug has a rubber backing so it stays in place over the wall to wall. The dark brown color is very rich and the texture of the carpet is pleasing. It isn’t a thick rug which is just what I wanted. Easily slips under furniture. In a few years when he has flown the coop here, I will remove it – maybe. For this price, I wont be too concerned if it gets stained or ruined.

I have finally folded up this mat and tossed it in the garage. It attracts and shows everything. Every bit of fluff and pet hair sticks to it like Velcro. I would not recommend this mat if you have any pets in your home. I have a really high end vacuum and don’t mind cleaning it up but it looks this way daily. The fabric really holds the fibres. It is a nice non slip mat and love the colour so best to be used away from the hair or lint.
