Excellent – hope a module with a “side outlet” is forthcoming for placement behind a cabinet
The Govee system is very easy to set up. Download the app to your phone. Plug the module into the desired outlet, the app will search for the unit that you are trying to link. You will simply press the button on the side, and the app connects the module to the Govee app. The app is quite easy to use. You program each of the Govee outlets to your own desires. We use one on and one off each day for nigttime lighting. The ONLY issue with the Govee modules is that all of them have an outlet on the front of the module. This requires that if you are placing this behind a cabinet to have a lamp come on/off, the cabinet cannot be situated very close to the wall. I hope that Govee comes up with a module that has tne module with a plug on the side minimizing the space required behind a cabinet etc.

Works great!
I use several of these in my home and garage, one to turn on my garage AC and used another one for a large fan with a broken switch. They work great and the Govee app works great to control these and my other Govee devices.

Easy set up!
So easy to set up! i have had others that were very frustrating to set up and manage. These smart plugs are the best i have ever used. Definitely recommend. Great product at a really good price.

Easy straight forward setup
These plugs so far are great! Way easier to set up and connect to Alexa than a other brand plugs. Just connect them to your wifi with the Govee app first and if you want to have Alexa control them, set em up in the Alexa app after setup in Govee app. It was real easy and straight forward. These are made well and are working great. I wish I would have bought these first instead of the kasa plugs!

Great smart plug at a great price
This is a surprisingly good smart plug, especially for the price. The setup was quick and easy, the app is intuitive, and it does everything I need it to do. It works well with Amazon Alexa which I have set up in my home. I bought this to use as on/off timer for a fish tank light and it does everything I need it do. I would definitely recommend this product, it seems just as capable as other smart plugs while also being cheaper.

Keeping my plants, my house, and honestly my soul alive
I’m already deep into the Govee ecosystem, and these smart plugs just pulled me in even further. I use them to control lights for late-night survival missions (aka bathroom trips) and to keep my plants on a strict light schedule so they don’t stage a revolt. The setup took about 45 seconds, the app works without making me scream, and the Alexa integration means I can now command the sun and my nightlights without moving. Power feels good.These plugs are part of my ongoing quest to make my chaotic ADHD life a little less chaotic. If my plants are thriving and I can see where I’m going at 2 a.m., that’s a victory. Highly recommend if you’re trying to build a smarter home — or just trying to keep yourself and your leafy dependents alive with minimal drama.

Why I bought this plug.First I bought a plug from Canadian Tire. I spent an hour trying to get it to pair with their app on my phone.It then wouldn’t work with my GOVEE Themometer.The next day, their app had forgotten the plug.I returned it. Bought the GOVEE plug.It connected within 2 seconds. Setting it up in the app to be triggered by the thermometer took a bit of figuring but, that was all pretty figurable.So, I am happy with this smart plug.

Set up is a breeze. Just plug in your plug first and then go to the Govee app and the app detects it right away (make sure you are on a 2.4 Ghz network) and add it by following the easy instructions after that and it’s connected in 10 seconds.

I have 3 of these plugs and initially they worked great. Now one of them is just always on no matter what. Even when the little Govee app or google home show the plug is off its really still on. The little blue light on the side of the plug goes on and off but the plug ON.I recently reached out to Govee, explained my issue and they are sending me a new unit.Spoke with a human first attempt. They responded to emails within 20 minutes and resolved my problem.So I am revising the rating.Thumbs up to you guys.
