I could have these flash with my news/talk stations, but I don’t.
Installed these in my Audi Q8 e-tron, which has basic white LED interior lighting, but I like having footwell lights on all the time while driving at night. Like others have said, the adhesive didn’t hold for long, so I found some small screws and used the mounting holes on the ends to attach these to the vehicle. No, I’m not flashing these with my news/talk or classical music stations, I’ll leave that for you youngsters and your hip-hop stations. (Although I’ll turn to the flashing mode temporarily just to make my young adult children groan.) The ability to change to any color I want and adjust brightness is great. I find the deep blueish hues to work best for constant on while driving and not distracting/reflective. I don’t use the hardwired remote and just leave these on all the time, even in daylight. LED draws very little power. I found the app to be easy to use and configure the lights the way I want them – I just set it and forget it. I paid under $25; price is higher now. Overall, a pretty low-cost way to add interior lighting to your vehicle.

I love almost everything Govee makes so when I decided to install lights in my car of course I went with these. I read the reviews so I also purchased some 3m tape to avoid having the problem of their adhesive not sticking. They connect to your phone through bluetooth and have worked flawlessly. They also have a remote attached to the wiring. I will likely never use it but I used some more 3m to attach the remote in an inconspicuous place that is still reachable. I thought about removing a star just because they are really aren’t bright enough during the day on 100% brightness but I really don’t want to switch between high and low from day to night anyway so I’ll just leave them on 100%. I’ve had them for a week now and I leave it set on purple but the features the lights offer are incredible. There are different scenes you can use and every color under the sun! They will pulse based on the music your listening to or can do a slow fade from color to color. They are compatible with my existing Govee app. I’m happy with my purchase. Can you get a similar product for less dollars? Absolutely. I just like the Govee brand. I’d say if your on the fence, just go ahead and order them and a roll of 3m tape of course.

Nice product and works great for a vehicle
They are a good LED strip light for footwell lighting in a vehicle. A couple of notes:1.) I actually installed mine backwards from what the illustration shows. I wanted to power them from a 12v outlet I added off the dash fuse block (as opposed to powering them from the center console) so the rears are installed in the front and front installed in the rear. Works just fine that way and I had plenty of wiring to do so. Someone with a larger vehicle may come up short.2.) You DON’T need the app to operate this in a basic way. You can select the color, brightness (big plus for using them in a vehicle), and turn on the audio sync from the buttons on the wired controller. If you want to have special lighting effects, you will need the app. But basically, they work just fine without it. It will also remember the last mode from the previous power up, so if you are like me and want to keep them on the same color, you won’t have to reset them every time.3.) As others have noted, the adhesive does not work. Do yourself a favor and order the 3M VHB tape with this. You’ll thank me later.

Easy install on 2008 Nissan Titan.
Love Govee products. Put these in my 2008 Nissan Titan. Super simple install. I used the car charger outlet in the center console to conceal the wires better and started with the rear lights, and went forward to under the dash.

Works nice but adhesive is lacking.
The lights have been nice and bright. There is ample length on the wires, almost a little too much. Controlling it can be done via the physical buttons or done via the app (I prefer the app)…. Speaking of, it has less options and control compared to their other products, but still got enough options to be happy.Why this is 3/5 for me is because installing it is a hassle. The adhesion is annoying, doesn’t even work, to the point where I need to duct tape mine on. But in the end, it does the job and I like the lights. I just wish the adhesive tape it has would be stickier.Should you buy this? Yes. As long as you understand that you will likely need to provide your own adhesive solution like taping it like I did.The cables in the front do get in the way a tiny bit but not enough to be truly bothersome. The back cables are well hidden for me.afterthoughts: I wish it was USB connected, instead of a cigarette plug.

Fun car RGB add-on!
This brings the vibe of night driving to a whole other level! It’s priced good with lots of different features and color options. I highly recommend getting a stronger double sided tape to place on the strips as they kept falling down over time in the front seats. In the back I recommend zip tying to the driver and passenger seat so they don’t keep falling. Huge fan of Govee for their affordable and great RGB.

I was a bit worried at furst, but after receiving the product I felt very confident and comfortable that this is very high quality product. It was well packaged, very easy to install, and went into operation very smoothly. Bluetooth connection worked fine. The App appears to be very versatile.
