Love it, already got a second.
Just got it today and I’ve already ordered a second. This is long enough to store some really long closing documents which is great. My only complaint is that the pictures make it look like it’s got hanging storage and it doesn’t. The ones I got seemed just a bit tall and since there isn’t a way to actually hang them I just decided not to use them and to stack the documents on top of each other. This worked great and I still had room to put some awards on the side next to the documents. The zipper works great and locks well, it’s easy to pick up and move, and it looks nice. No real noticeable smell.

Love this fireproof file box. It’s got lots of additional pockets inside and out. I also love that it opens on the side like a file drawer. This someone helps with the organization. I was able to use hanging file folders in it. The silver trim abs study handles made it attractive and easy to move. I got this for important papers but plan to get another one of these styles fire my coloring books because of its storage capacity and pockets to house colored pencils and markers and other art supplies! It would be perfect for that use!

Just what I needed!
I’m moving into a new apartment and not taking my file-locking desk. I needed something that would make me feel more secure holding my important documents and passport and stuff that could fit into a cabinet, but still be secure. This little box was just the thing! Although it’s collapsible, once opened it feels pretty sturdy and stays up on its own. I love the zipper lock on the side and the material feels good. File folders (sold separately) sit perfectly inside without interfering with the zipper or lid at all. For simple things in a small place this file box is perfect. When I eventually get a gun I would not use this, I would get an actual safe. But for documents and things to keep tucked away secure, this is perfect.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this for a a move to get files to the new house and it served its purpose. After the move I have actually repurposed this as a case for my Ryobi Lithium Ion Batteries in the garage. Lithium-ion battery fires in garages are a growing concern, often sparked by charging or faulty batteries. These fires can spread rapidly and cause significant damage, emphasizing the need for proper battery handling and storage.

Sturdy and very organized
So handy. I moved into a trailer so I needed a smaller file cabinet and this is perfect. Very sturdy and keeps all my stuff very organized. I also like the extra pockets in the inside of the lid to keep my passport and other small documents

Not fire safe, more heat resistant
This product is not fire safe due to the zipper. We teach a death and dying class and promote people getting a box for all the paperwork needed when you die. We thought this would work but wanted to test it out. Took it to the local fire department. They used a propane lighter to test it. It would work except for the zipper, which is nylon. Plus once the zipper melted, both fire and water could get inside. The box is the perfect size for files and essential documents. Just may need to keep it by the door. It was relatively inexpensive but suspect more expensive boxes would have the same issue. At least the firemen enjoyed the experiment.

I like this very much. It unfolds quickly and once the bottom piece is placed inside it is very sturdy. Perfect for my important documents. It will make it easier for others to find in the time of need. Very pleased.

Vet inte om material i lådan tål verkligen både eld och vatten men blixtlåset gör definitivt inte det. Blixtlåset är gjort av vanlig material och är inte impregnerat eller förstärkt på något sätt. Dessutom om man lägger sina grejer på hög så lyfts locket ett par cm och då har man bara det enkla blixtlåset där. Betrakta det som en vanlig förvaringslåda – ej brand eller vattensäker

Eigentlich macht die Tasche einen guten Eindruck. Leider ist sie nicht tief genufg weswegen Hängeregister unten aufsitzen. Ganz schwierig ist es mit Heft Hänge Register, diese Passen nicht hinein!
