Super comfortable 3 inches thick topper, the best you can buy
So I saw this same company makes a mattress topper that 2 inches thick and got tons of 5 star reviews. I decided to get this newer topper that is 3 inches thick, made by the same company. I don’t write many reviews so here goes. Even though when you take it out of the bag its still somewhat fluffy and a real 3 inches, I followed the instructions to put it in a tumble dryer on low heat dry as it came for 20 minutes. If you get it make sure you do this step…so after 20 minutes took it out of dryer and indeed it fluffed up even more. I had a much older topper that was flat and much thinner…I just put this on my queen size bed. It fit perfectly and then I layed down. Now granted I didnt sleep yet on it, but the feeling was indeed as some have reported on the 2 inch version like sleeping on a cloud…I cant imagine a better topper than this one…its well made, the straps were strong. Some have reported the straps broke or were shredded, mine were perfect…All I can say if your looking for a topper this 3 inch thick topper cannot be beat…so happy with the feel of it…hopefully I sleep well tonite.

Heat helps it fluff!
A few things to remember when ordering any down alternative or Down/Feather item: they flatten out from use. To restore that puffiness, heat and frequent shaking is all you need. This item is large, and while my dryer is large capacity, I decided to just turn on a portable oil-filled heat radiator in the room, and close the door. By the time the room reached 74 degrees the queen size topper was fully fluffed. Weekly fluffing can be done when sheets are changed. We normally sleep in a cold room, intentionally, so dryer fluffing is in the future.We have a Personal Comfort Airbed with a “non-memory foam” firm topper. This alternative down topper added just the extra comfort we needed to sleep comfortably. It is not going to act like 3″ memory foam. So, even though it is fluffy, don’t expect it to have the same comfort and support of memory foam (which comes with off gassing, and smell lasting months). But, If you have a firm mattress, this odorless topper will make it more comfortable.Ours arrived in a rolled, slightly compressed protective cover that was NOT shrink wrapped. That alarmed me a little, as I know that bed bugs and eggs die within 24-48 hours of being shrink wrapped (from suffocation). Seeing the top of the plastic cover open, was a concern. But, I carefully checked every inch and it looked sterile as they claim. Drying at low temp for 15 minutes also kills bed bugs, but I was determined to just see if it fluffed up in a warm room. I know that not everyone can, or wants to put these immediately in a dryer, so I tested the room heating method, and was pleased with the results. Just shaking by hand and leaving it in a cold room may not get it fully fluffed, that’s not the fault of the manufacturer.Mine is now encased in an organic cotton mattress protector (purchased on Amazon), where it lives happily. Another cotton mattress protector encasing the entire 15″ is on top of that, which keeps it from shifting on the bed. (So, I am not using the anchor straps.) Note: Only the top fabric with the jacquard print is 100% cotton. The underside of the protector, and the filling are labeled polyester. So if you flip this, it might make you warm or hot, especially in the summer if sleeping on the side where the anchors are attached.This product is exactly what I was hoping for, and meets the manufacturers product description; except for one thing. They show in the second photo, that the print top is “organic cotton”. No where on the label does it mention the word “organic”. So, either this is a typo on the website, or the manufacturer is not labeling it. Maybe they use the word “organic” differently? Anyway, it is exactly what we were looking for and we do recommend it.

I’ve tried many toppers trying to get the right comfort and this beats them all. Very comfortable and top quality material.

This topper has corner straps to secure to the mattress and the corner straps will look as though it’s stretching and thinning the topper but just have some faith and try it out! It’s very comfy and improves muchly! I have a 6in mattress in a box and 6in was not enough. I had much more to improve. I was waking up every day with a stiff and painful back. For my bed, I wish the topper had been an inch or two thicker but the improvements are not to be sneezed at! Only once in a while now, will I wake up with pain and it’s not nearly as bad when it does happen. Even my visiting partner had asked if I had gotten a whole new bed! Still thinking of replacing my mattress but this topper has made that a want, not a need. Even if I do replace my mattress I’m very likely to put this on the new one for extra fluff!
