1. Works with most brands of garage door openers manufactured after 1993 that use photoelectric sensors that do not shut off. It is not intended for use with openers in which the photoelectric sensors located near the bottom of the garage door change power mode (e.g., lights on the sensors turn off after the door is closed), or any Chamberlain Group opener with a yellow learn button manufactured between 2010 and 2021, or any Linear opener.
System Requirements: a router with 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi frequency, router with 802.11 B/G/N, a router within 50 feet of the Smart Garage Control (more details in PDF user manual). Must have a sectional garage door. Product certified for use in US only. Bluetooth makes setup easier than ever.

Works like a charm
Our garage opener supposedly has wifi connection built in but by the time I tried to connect it, Chamberlain had retired that version so it doesn’t work directly. Got this to see if it would work and it’s awesome. Easy to install, easy to connect to the opener and to wifi. You need the MyQ app (yeah, ANOTHER app you have to have) but it’s actually extremely reliable. I have an iPhone and have had no issues with connectivity or responsiveness with this device.I like it because I get notifications on my phone when the garage opens or closes for when I’m not home and I can monitor the family comings and goings to make sure the house is secure. I can also remotely open or close the garage from anywhere – whether I’m at home or away. I especially like that feature so that if I need to open the house for anyone or if we forgot to close the garage I can operate the door from wherever I am. It also gives me the status of the door (open or closed) at any time.Highly recommend as an actual “smart” and useful smart device.

Easy Install and Virtually Plug & Play Smart Door Opener!
Overall, the install was super easy and virtually plug and play. During the installation process, they provide a quick video to run you through how to do certain steps. After installing the sensor on the garage door itself, the app will have you sync the smart device with your opener. The smart device connected to my garage door opener (Overhead Door Legacy 650) in about 20 seconds or so and installation was complete. From there it will have you mount the main hub in certain spots, but I chose to place it on the ceiling above the opener.Notes:I would def suggest checking the compatibility list of openers before installing just in case you have a machine that is not compatible.When using the app to CLOSE your garage door, you will hear a quite loud “alarm” for under 10 seconds, to alert people to the door closing. For those with auditory issues, there is also a bright flashing light that blinks simultaneously with the alarm before the door closes. On the other hand.. When using the app to raise the garage door, it doesn’t do either.

I had a security service that ended up being just too expensive, but I was so sad that access to my garage door was no longer available…until I discovered the CHAMBERLAIN Smart Garage Control – Wireless Garage Hub and Sensor with Wifi & Bluetooth – Smartphone Controlled, myQ-G0401-ES, White. I love this. It was very easy to install – in fairness, my hubby installed it, I didn’t. It works well and so easy to use. We both have the app installed on our phones and we can both operate it. The wire length worked well as it is installed next to the opener. I don’t know about battery life yet – only time will tell on that. We also added Ring cameras inside the garage to monitor the actual door to see it when it goes up or down. So far, really happy with the purchase and the price was great! The design is clean and simple. Although the instructions didn’t indicate the brand garage door I have would work, my husband hooked it up and it works perfectly. No issues. App easy to use too!

I was reading reviews of door opener apps and there were many good reviews of this adapter. In fact, they suggestd getting a MyQ enabled opener. I priced that option. It was $900+. Instead I spent $25 on this adapter because I have very good liftmaster openers on both of garager doors.Installation was very easy. You have to use the app. If you don’t want to use an app, don’t get a MyQ device because the only benefit of MyQ is app compatability. The app walks you through the installation. There were no problems other than our garage has one outlet and it is inconvenient. So, I ran an extension cord to it. After install, the app and device work seamlessly. I was able to get everyone invited. For ease there, we used our existing gmail accounts to sign into the app. Then, logging in doesn’t require an extra step because we are already logged into our phones.After install and use, I tested it out. It is slow to close the door because it beeps for a while and then closes the door. Openining is immediate. I had no issues with the network becasue the router is on the opposite side of the wall from the main MyQ hub. If anything, it is too close.After that, I looked into connecting it to Android Auto. It turns out that all of the articles I read are old. MyQ doesn’t work with Google Home, Google Assistant, or Android Auto. I couldn’t even find a way to open it from the car’s interface. It is an independent app. To use it, you have to open the MyQ app on your phone (because there no way to get to it otherwise) and use it. My idea of having a garage door button in Android Auto will have to wait to see if Chamerlain and Google ever decide to play nice with one another.

Very easy set-up….
So easy to set up; right before I went in the garage, I said this will take me a couple of hours because there are always the “usual issues” with tech. No issues, download the app and it walks you through everything. Took maybe 20 minutes.I didn’t want to use a drill to mount the base in case I ever wanted to change the location, so I used command strips and put them on the corners of the base. Hung it on a nearby rafter on the ceiling, by the garage motor. Invited some family members to use the app (as they stop by frequently) and took advantage of the Amazon Key garage drop off but it’s not necessary and you can select it (or not) when checking out with Amazon if you have a more expensive item or supposed to be stormy.Definitely recommend and very easy set-up.

It seems that the MyQ app has stopped integrating with their own product, the Smart Garage Hub. It wasn’t even showing up in Device Management, so I couldn’t add the device to the app. I wasted so much time troubleshooting this. One weekend, it didn’t even allow me to register my new account, as their servers appeared to be down.Now that they’ve discontinued third-party integrations like HomeAssistant, I’m not sure if anyone would still be interested in buying this, like I was. Unfortunately, their system is so buggy and convoluted.

Accesorio bastante útil para dar acceso al conductor de Amazon o ML cuando no hay quien reciba las entregas personalmente.A diferencia del modelo de color blanco, este dispositivo es compatible con los motores que traen botón de aprendizaje color amarillo. La instalación fue sencilla y no me llevó mas de 30 minutos. El instructivo dice que el modulo se instale alejado de cosas metálicas, sin embargo lo instalé en la misma estructura que sostiene al motor y funcionó sin problemas. Por otro lado, el sensor de posición lo atornille en el panel superior del portón y la instalación fue sencilla.Una vez que el usuario principal configura su perfil en la aplicación, se pueden agregar accesos adicionales en forma de copropietarios (pareja, hijos) o usuarios temporales.

By far the best investment I made. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve returned home cause I couldn’t remember if I closed my garage doors. These make it so easy to check. And you can open or close the garage doors from anywhere. Easy to install and super easy to use.

Dunque prima di acquistare dovete sapere che questo prodotto non funziona con le fotocellule quindi non è adatto a voi .Il kit è ben fatto sempre se non utilizzate le fotocellule ripeto.Ho dovuto renderlo in quando ci sono cascato anche io .!

Genieのガレージドアに付けて専用アプリと連携させてスマホなどから問題なく開閉できています。しかしHome Assistantとの連携をしたかったのだが、メーカーのポリシーで、3rdパーティーのホームオートメーションシステムと連携できないのは残念。
