Best Tool I Bought in 2025 so far!!
This is the best and easiest tool I have purchased in months! It is plug and play, and all I had to do was connect it via the USB cable provided to my laptop. I loaded a two sided document, chose black and white and hit scan. A few seconds later I have a duplexed image scanned and all I had to do was choose the folder where I wanted to store it.The font in their control panel is very small, but can be adjusted to a larger size. That’s my only negative…and it’s really not a significant issue. It is so small, it is fast and super easy to use. When you plug it in you are able to see and launch the executible file for it’s app and that’s it.

I am sure others will sing this thing’s praises, but as far as I am concerned, it is the worst piece of equipment I have practically ever encountered. It either does not engage with the pages at all, or else it swallows the stack whole. Should it accidentally feed 2 or 3 pages in sequence (“auto document feed”, right?), they will inevitably be skewed – I have yet to have it feed a single page through in good alignment.The hardware is bad. The software is worse. It is built-in. There is mention of using it “if you do not have a scanner driver,” but there is no hint of a scanner driver to download. Granted, I am a Mac user, but the website makes it appear that it is plug-and-play. Not. (Website shows an older launch screen. Of course.)I am trying to replace an old MX922 that served me wonderfully until the ADF started jamming. Not sure what I’m going to do. I bought a car recently, and the finance guy must have scanned about 100 pages in 3 seconds flat with his nifty scanner. Wish I had one of those, but I just don’t have the volume in my retiree’s home office to justify it.Guess you get what you pay for. Except in this instance you don’t. You pay and you get something headed for the landfill.I wanted to share a video, but there’s nothing to see. I couldn’t get it to work for the video. Bah

ARM processor supported!
Works with ARM64 processor! This is the only dedicated scanner with software that supports these newer processors. I have a windows surface laptop and tried 3 different scanners that were not compatible.Beware if you press the sheets into the scanner it will grab all of the sheets in one pass. You only want to align all of the pages and gently set them in the auto feeder so it only grabs one at a time.

Not recommended for Mac due to software
Scan quality is very good generally. It’s not perfect and manages to skew and distort slightly (most apparent if you’re trying to match up a scanned document to an invisible text layer from the unsigned original). Automatic document feed is OK but not amazing; with documents that were previously stapled it will often drag multiple sheets through at once. The device is very compact, which is helpful. It’s a little annoying, and a sign that this thing is fairly dated, that it uses micro USB instead of USB-C.This software makes this device extremely difficult to use. I don’t know if it’s a Mac-specific issue, or if it affects Windows as well, but the built-in CaptureOnTouch Lite software is exceptionally finicky, particularly after updating to Sequoia. Often, when you start a scan, it just locks up and doesn’t start scanning; your only solution is to force quit the app and relaunch. Sometimes you need to disconnect and reconnect the scanner from your computer entirely. What’s worse is there’s no third-party or open-source software solution (as far as I’ve found) for this device. I do not know if an update will ever be coming either. The current version of 3.5.23.1120.I do not recommend this device if you have a Mac.

Even better than expected.
I had high expectations when I purchased this, and they were blown out of the water! This scanner was so fast and so accurate that I didn’t have any issues from set up to go. My only critique of this would be rather than using a micro USB that they would actually utilize a USB-C.I bought this for travel and it is definitely small enough to pack away in luggage and take with me. Additionally, the double sided feature works perfect as well. I can’t say I had any concerns while using this scanner. I was just scanning forms with red mark ups on them, so I really didn’t get to check the color accuracy, but the red was red and the black was black.

Convenient duplex very fast scanner with no set up required – is recognized as a separate drive once plugged into USB port (no separate power supply needed either!) Double click on the scanner software and away you go. OCRs the PDF output file automatically too so really fast and convenient. Where has this been all this time ??

El tamaño es compacto, pero las funciones son de un escáner de tamaño normal, muy buena resolución y me gustó el no tener que instalar software extra. No he tenido problema con la compatibilidad de sistemas, mi computadora usa Windows 10. Muy práctico, lo recomiendo.
