Update: I’m like a kid with a hammer with this thing – what else can I chop, shred or slice? I cut up half a cabbage and an onion in seconds yesterday. Last time I shredded cheese I remembered someone else’s review and put less pressure on the pusher and yes! that really does help it to not get gummed up.It will be perfect in canning season and will make everything go so much faster!I’m used to using a food processor, I bought this as a replacement.It’s quiet! It’s efficient! It’s easy to clean! It’s easy on my hands! It weighs almost nothing! No electricity needed!It attached easily to my countertop with the suction cups, and snaps together effortlessly. I tried both carrots and cheese. The carrots shredded perfectly, the cheese gummed up a bit in the chamber but I used a table knife to get it out and no problem. Next time I’ll freeze it for about 1/2 hour to give it more stability. I shredded a pound of cheese in minutes.When I finished I realized only the cutting barrel and the food chute and pusher needed to be cleaned. I soaked the barrel for a few minutes and it came clean easily.I purchased a cheap plastic bin at a dollar store to keep the parts in.Highly recommend!

Pretty Little Grater
This grater is a game changer, easy to use, dishwasher safe, and makes versatile cuts, shreds, and chops. The unit is sturdy and vacuum locks onto my farmhouse kitchen work table. I switched to grating my own cheese due to the additives they put in prepared bags of shredded cheese at the grocery store. Instead, I buy quality blocks of aged cheeses and shred the cheese myself with this shredder. Yes, a bit more work, but so worth it! You can taste the difference.Also, I like that the grater is SAFE to use! Even my grandkids can use it and they find it so much fun helping out in the kitchen. Oh, and the colors you can choose from, added bonus!I store it is a plastic storage box after some parts are washed in the dishwasher and wiping other parts off with ease. The storage box I purchased keeps all the parts together for the next kitchen adventure. Highly Recommend for the price, a great value!

Absolutely awesome, efficient and cost-effective countertop grater!!
No more running blocks of cheese or vegetables across a box grater, waiting to skin my fingertips. Suction cup (that holds it in place while you grate) is strong enough to keep the grater FIRMLY in place while you grate – but releases easily with the turn of a knob. Nice that the grater shoot, pusher and grater blades (I got the 5-blade version) are all dishwasher safe (top rack), further preventing me from grating my fingertips while cleaning. All-in-all – great price for a great little grater. Just got it, so I don’t know how long it’ll last, but it seems VERY sturdy. If you usually use a box grater (or grater plane) for large grating jobs, put it back in the drawer and get this……..you’ll thank me later!

Works great, wish the chute was longer
I’ve had this about a week and a half and have used it 4x. I was worried with people saying it didn’t stick to the counter, but so far so good. We have granite so I could see it not working if the surface wasn’t clean or a non flat surface such as small tiles. But I locked it down and I’m pretty sure I would break it before the suction came off. I much prefer this to manual grating. It’s fairly easy to clean and comes apart nicely. My only complaint is I wish the chute came out a little more. I prefer to shred on a plate and the short chute makes it spill everywhereonce I’ve gotten a small pile going. Small concession for such a handy kitchen gadget and I’ll just change up to using only bowls. I would recommend.

I have become a skeptic on any appliance i dont see in person before purchase so this was a giant leap of faith in previous reviews. I’ve been grating my own products for years and the older I get the less Popeye strength and endurance I possess….. hence this purchase.The only wish list i have for this product is for it to made out of stainless steel and perhaps ceramic, its a lot of plastic and we try hard to lean away from microplastics…. other than that…. BUY IT.It not only works, it works great, cleans easy and was the fastest and most efficient grating i’ve ever done. This machine is so good, I gained more product from it than grating by hand.Tested and Approved.

Great grater
Love it- Makes quick work of shredding frozen butter and cheese. Great little machine that us hexk of a lot cheaper than the shredder attachment for my kitchen aid. Locks tight to my stone countertop. Used the coarse shredder barrel for frozen butter and followed by sharp cheddar cheese. Did an excellent job quickly and the clean up was very easy. Came with a brush but did not use – washed by hand and also placed in dishwasher. Great value for the money

Easy and Effective!
This is so easy to use and actually SO FUN. It grates so quickly and easily that you’re done before you know it. The bottom suction base does take some effort to put in place, but it’s easy to use. There are a lot of parts to clean, but I’d rather have it come apart the way it does than the cheese be stuck in there forever. I literally want to start a free cheese grating service just to use this more often.

Perfect addition to kitchen food prep
This appliance worked so well. Easy assembly; easy clean up. The variety of discs make tasks much easier (and no knuckle bleeds) The cheese shredded beautifully; cucumbers sliced thin; the chocolate grated perfect. Suctions to table top and does not move; handle turned easily. My new favorite kitchen appliance; can’t wait to use it on more food items!

Diesen “Karottenwolf” habe ich bestellt um schneller, aber mit Hände, Karotten ohne Reibe zu reiben. Natürlich gibt es kein ähnliches Gerät mit Trommel, der reibt alles fertig – ich meine, ein bisschen kleine ungeriebene Menge von Karotten bleibt zwischen Trommel und Gehäuse, aber es ist gar kein Problem. Sehr schnel für 1-2-3 wird das Gerät zusammengebaut, eehr gut ist Ausstattung mit festem Saugnapf, dass Gemüsenwolf nicht rutscht. Für 10-15 Euro billiger wäre es Super.
