Q1: The cross-cut shredder is jammed. What should I do?
A1: Please slide the switch to REV and pull up the paper. Shred again after removing the paper. If the paper is almost totally in the feed slot and can’t be taken out, slide the switch to OFF first, then slide to FWD to shred the jammed paper.
Q2: How often should I lubricate the document shredder?
A2: In order to prolong the service life of the paper shredder, please use a professional paper shredder lubricating sheet or oil to lubricate the machine once or twice a month.
Q3: Why is the number of sheets that can be shredded lower than the maximum number of sheets described?
A3: Please check if the paper is damp, contains plastic or too thick. If so, please let the paper dry before shredding, or remove the plastic part, or reduce shredding sheets per pass. Please don’t shred more than 10 sheets at one time.
Q4: Why are there paper scraps in the bin or in the cutter when I receive the new paper shredder? Is it a used machine?
A4: Please be assured that all paper shredders purchased from us directly are brand new. In order to ensure the quality and function of the shredder, we 100% tested every machine in production, and some units might not be cleaned completely.
Q5: Why doesn’t the shredder work after plugging in?
A5: Please make sure you assemble the head and basket in correct directions. The side with LOGO of the shredder head should be aligned to the side with transparent window of the bin.

Great value for your investment
It’s a little smaller than what Iam used to but it works great. I’ve put up to 6 sheets of paper into it and it Shredded it like a stick of butter. It’s ideal for home use or a low volume small business or office that has a small amount of papers that needs to be kept private after no longer useful. It’s easy to empty the tray and it’s capacity to shred 6 sheets is great.

The shredder I had purchased on one of Amazon prime days. It turned out to be an excellent buy. I received it brand new without any defects on it. I do love this shredder. It cuts paper in across crisscross man.ner, so when you do shred paper, the paper just doesn’t build up because it’s cut like spaghetti. It goes to small pieces and takes a while to fill up the basket or catch container. I recommend this product. To people out there are looking for shredder at a good price.

If you are looking for a disposable shredder that will work for about 6 months then this is the product for you. This is the second shredder from BONSEN that I have purchased that lasted less than a year. This was for home use and generally only used to shred junk mail and financial statements (removed from the envelopes and fed 2 sheets at a time). The first one I purchased was the 8 sheet crosscut. It bogged down whenever you put more than 2 sheets at a time through it. In less than a year the the motor failed. Customer support was worthless and told me to buy another one. I figured maybe I just got a lemon so I decided to try again with a bigger model; the new and supposedly improved 10 sheet cross-cut version. The new one generally worked ok for a while but could only handle about 4 sheets at a time, less than half the advertised capability. This one lasted less than 6 months. I was shredding paper for about 5 minutes yesterday and the motor kept struggling, even with no paper running through the teeth. The motor slowly lost power and literally started smoking. It wasn’t clogged or jammed and I didn’t exceed the duty cycle in 5 minutes. I had to unplug the unit and take it outside. So buyer beware. If you buy a BONSEN shredder you will want to buy Amazon’s protection plan so you can get it replaced in 6 months. Just know that they only replace it once though so after a year when both have failed you will once again be in the market for a new shredder like I am right now.

Cuchillas potentes, trituran sin problema cds y tarjetas del banco. El único detalle que le encuentro es que la pieza de arriba (donde se encuentra el motor) no hace clic con la pieza que sirve de bote, solo se pone encima, por lo que hay que tener cuidado al moverla o amarrarla de alguna manera, ya que sí es pesada.
