The Sync XR module is the best and most important upgrade to the Blink system.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Original sync module worked perfectly except one camera was always in and out due to it was the furthest one in the chain, I just lived with it and accepted I was out of bounds. The new sync module with extended range not only made that camera reachable and no more choppy videos when I live view the camera, but all the outer cameras respond better in standard range. I only used one XR out of two, but nice to know I have another.

Well worth the price.
Very easy to set up, even thought there is not every much in the way of instructions. The pictures and clips are very clear and it picks up on the motion very good. they mounted very easy and I would recommend this particular one if you have acreage. We have one of the camera’s pretty far from the house and the extended part of the system works well. The only thing is with the one that is far from the house, you can not use the mic to speak. The value on this package is well worth it.

These cameras were easy to install and set up. The motion is very sensitive, so it has to be adjusted to personal preference. The XR+ works excellently for a 3100sqft home with a metal roof and siding for the cameras farthest from the module (through two insulated walls with metal siding). I recommend the XR+ for those with barndo homes. The only downfall is that the XR+ only supports two cameras; the other runs off the module/Wi-Fi.

Worth the upgrade for sure!
Having the previous generation blink outdoor and needing a couple of new cameras to add to my system, I purchased the outdoor 4 with XR sync module. So far, I am super pleased. There is better video quality and the loading times of the cameras in the app is faster! The new sync module XR is best suited at being placed higher up, like on top of a kitchen cabinet . The higher the better!

Good camera , Untrustworthy Company..
Do Not trust BLINK , the camera is nice , but if you decide to Save money and use local storage and a sync module your brand new camera that worked great during the free month subscription plan will be rendered USELESS when you don’t renew and pay to subscribe. Mine work perfect until after that plan ended then when I began to use my sync module XR with a SD card and blink realized they wasn’t going to get anymore money every month from me , my camera repeatedly goes offline for absolutely No reason at all , no bad weather , my wifi IS working GREAT , my Camera is securely mounted, in the same exact place , my sync module is secured to the wall also in the same place as it always has been, their cameras should not do that , this seems intentional to me. And I’m not the only one that this same issue happens to, I Paid good money for MY camera , but apparently even though it belongs To me they think they have a right to sabotage it into forcing people to pay them every month , forever or it mysteriously won’t work as it does when you pay for their subscription , if your looking FOR ACTUAL RELIABLE SECURITY YOU CAN COUNT ON WHEN IT MATTERS STAY AWAY FROM BLINK . the only thing they care about is securing your money in their pockets..

This is not the old Blink Camera
This model is an improvement from the old version. Range is great for what I need. I pushed the limit and still get notified with motion triggered. Walking thru each zone is fixed by connecting the videos. So happy with the ease of set up too.

Review #1 – Date 11/10/2024 – “The Testing Phase”: —– Meaning I just got this & 1 of many New Gen 4 Outdoor Cameras. I have a huge Blink Camera System that consists of “8” Sync Modules (Including this one). So I have 8 Camera Zones that have a total of “23” Blink Cameras. All up and running seamlessly with usually no Drops or Offline Cameras. I do this so I can have some ARMED ALL THE TIME & Others ARMED ONLY When I Need Them, they are Inside & Outside of my house.. A Couple are EXTRA ZONES with extra cameras so they can be moved them around as or if needed. —– I got this All-new Blink Sync Module XR — System Hub to see if it really works as they (Blink) say it dose. I am hopping it dose Because I would like a couple of Cameras Out Further from My House so I can See more of my land & A couple looking Back Towards My House. All my cameras are always plugged in and waiting or watching. I set up this All-new Blink Sync Module XR — System hub & I will Give it 4 Stars for now because I did just set it up and put a The Gen 4 Outdoor Camera (That came as a bundle) about 125′ from the Sync Module, it was in my basement and had to go through 2 inside walls, 1 outside wall then out to the end of my fence. It worked the very first time. Not with great connections but it was more responsive than some of my other Cameras including Gen 4 Cameras that are closer & they all have 100% connection to there Sync Module 2 & Router. I will move the Sync Module Hub around my house hook it to a closer router ( I have 3). I will also PLUG the Gen 4 Camera in to a power supply (AS ARE ALL MY CAMERAS) & remove the batteries. I have noticed that ALL MY CAMERAS work better with a constant power supply. Blink Cameras are GREAT. I Love them & find them very dependable and at a very decent price when they are on sale. —– I will update this review after a few weeks of testing.

I was always a Blink customer from the very beginning. Over the years I have changed up my cameras . I purchase these new cameras and module and can definitely see a major difference in clarity and color. The distance that this camera picks up with a new extended range sync module is amazing! I highly recommend!
