Amazing lights for the dance floor!
I’ve got 6 boxes of these lights to create a 10×10 light chandelier over the 20×20 dance floor. And they worked great!Installation took quite some time, but this was mostly due to the complexity of the idea. Lights were perfectly picking up the sound beat and turned on and off as the band was playing.Overall pretty dramatic look and beautiful visual effect.

Easy to Install & Great Results!
I installed this product to the roof of my car. The process was fairly straightforward and easy to implement, especially after watching others on YouTube do it. All the fiber optic strands were long enough (I bought the 9′ option) so they reached everywhere in the headliner I wanted a star to be. The remote control signal reaches all the way back to the trunk where I mounted the light engine which is great. The only thing was I needed to purchase a 10′ long DC power cable because the 6.5′ long DC power cable they provided was a little too short, but again I mounted mine in the farthest corner of my trunk. The customer service was great because they provided me the exact details of what 10′ DC power cable to purchase and were very quick to reply. At night, the results of this starlight headliner ARE AMAZING! I cannot believe I have this in my vehicle! Easy to turn on and off, remote with options is so cool. My overall impression is this is a great product and, if installed properly, will yield fantastic results!!

Good product, difficult installation. Not for beginners.
I’ll break this down into a few categories…The unit:Works well. box is smaller then i thought. I have no doubts this will last a while. Glad i spent the money on a nicer box as opposed to a non twinkling or solid color one.The installation:Depending on your car removing the headliner could be 25 minutes or 2-5 hours. Expect to break numerous clips. Once the liner is out the rest is tedious work. The real fun starts when your trying to route the lines. If you don’t keep organized… sh!t will hit the fan, and quick!I strongly reccomend going with 14 feet as opposed to 9. I ran about 2 feet short on a g35 coupe from where i originally wanted to put the box. Worked out fine in the end but couldn’t hide the box.

Huge project but definitely worth it
Overall this took me about 13 hours to finish. I installed in my 06 mustang gt. Definitely a tedious project but i’m so happy with the the way it turned out, it’s exactly what I wanted. I recommend using a dental pick to make the hole in the headliner and also sharpen the end of the fiber by cutting it at an angle. Makes it much easier to poke through the headliner.

Awesome modification!!
Product arrived promptly and as described! I installed two kits, 335pcs and 550pcs. Installation was not the easiest obviously, but the end results are well worth the trouble! I must stress that in no way did the brand of kit give me any trouble nor did I experience any issues so far! Headliner removal in a 14’ Dodge Durango was the biggest headache and for a similar sized vehicle w/o a sunroof with similar rear AC configuration, 885pcs would be the way to go! Bluetooth compatibility is very useful and connects without any issues there! Being able to connect more than one kit in app allows for the perfect synchronization. I’m highly pleased and will order the brand again for a similar in house set up.

Will Not Go With Music!
Overall this product is great and I have the 430 stands lights installed in my 06 ford and bought another for my buddies 06 mustang, both came out AMAZING. The twinkle effect of both works extremely well and came out better than imagined. I would recommend anyone buying to get as many pieces are possible as the more starts the better as well as get at least the 9ft length. I was able to run both 9ft units through body panels to a hidden area where the box could not been seen. My ONLY complaint is when driving the mic for the music function is extremely sensitive and picks up any road noise rendering the music function useless while driving as it constantly stays on. Other than that it’s everything I could have hoped for.

I wanted to do my own starlight headliner in my Subaru BRZ and ended up researching a lot of different features and units available to Canadians and came across this. The actual product is amazing! I have literally no complaints – it has worked perfectly since my installation about 7 months ago and everyone that has seen it in action has also just been in love. Easy to install and operate and looks absolutely stunning day or night.I would HIGHLY recommend this unit for the twinkle motor, physical remote, smartphone app (doesn’t always work the greatest but a nice feature to use sometimes), and all the different modes and available colors. If doing this in your car definitely get as many fibers as possible (I used the 10ft 450 fibers option) to make the starlight headliner really pop. As for the install itself, it would depend on the car, but it took me about 8-10 hours to fully install mine and achieve an OEM finish (including headliner removal, fiber optics installation, interior disassembly to route everything into the trunk, wired to an accessory power fuse tap, and full interior reassembly).I’ve documented the whole install, demo, and some tips and tricks on my YouTube channel (LivingAsleepHD) if anyone is interested. Got the product without fibre optics, so disappointing. Was so eager to open the package just to know the light engine is damaged with fibre optics missing.

I see majority of people installing this in their car. If you are hesitant to buy this to install in your ceiling, right now I will tell you do it, it is 100 percent worth it. Understand it is a very very tedious task that took me almost 2 weeks to complete. The picture do not do justice. When you see these in real life your blown away. Incredible app that is responsive and lights are as bight as they were when I first installed.

Definitely a game changer for your vehicle. This installation took about 2 days to finish on my Ford Fusion but is worth it 100%. Good Quality fibre optics and the App runs pretty smooth as well. With all Starlight Headliners it takes patience and time but it’s a head Turner that’s for sure. Would buy this brand again
