Looks Great and Super Easy to Use
I used this faux brick wall covering to give an old, scraped-up wall a fresh new look, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The adhesive backing made it super easy to apply; it stuck well and stayed in place without any issues. After reading a few other reviews, I decided to “step cut” the pieces so the seams would blend better, and that trick worked perfectly. It only took me about an hour and a half to do the whole project, and I’ll be posting before and after pics so you can see the difference. It looks way more high-end than I expected. Definitely worth it!!

For textured walls use construction adhesive.
This is what I did with them. I cut out the small bricks on the sides of the panels to make them better connect without having a noticeable seam around each panel. Then I used joint compound in a piping bag to fill all the grout lines and do a German Smear technique. Since my walls were textured, I used construction adhesive on the panels to make sure they stuck. The plan is to put a polyurethane coat over the project to make it water resistant, durable and easy to clean. Overall this was an easy project and much cheaper than buying thin brick. It’s not noticeable that it’s foam at all and looks like real brick using this technique. This would NOT be a renter friendly project. I’d only ever suggest this for homeowners on a budget.

I do recommend, but not what I’d call renter friendly
The panels are very large squares so covers large amounts of area at once. It really looks gorgeous once completed. It is easy to apply. It’s not quite as easy to remove. One thing to note is that it is SUPER sticky. I absolutely love these, but I wouldn’t exactly call them renter friendly because at some point in time, you have to remove them. Once that happens you have a whole problem with re-mudding and painting the wall. The place I chose to put this is the center part of the wall that houses an electric fireplace. It sticks out approximately 5 or 6″ from the rest of the wall so I had to wrap it around the corners. I started on the left side of the wall and moved to the right. When I got to the end of the right side of the wall, it ended right at the corner. There was maybe an inch or inch and a half overhang. I could not get it to stay laid down for anything. I tried to cut the overhang off and it was a disaster. So I decided to peel off that column of panels and come in from the right side and wrap around to the front and insert a strip into the 6″ gap. As I peeled off the panels, I took most of the paint with me. It stuck to me. To my floor. To the wall. To the cat. I was astounded at how well it stuck. It stuck too well.So that looked like crap because I can’t cut a straight line and I wanted to start in the middle and move out. I had the bright idea to leave the old up because this stuff sticks to anything. It doesn’t stick to itself very well. After a few times of putting the panels back in place, it was time to remove the first layer. Yes, it ripped off huge chunks of the paint and mud.I finally got it to look like I want though. And it is gorgeous. It looks like real bricks. I love that it is thick and textured. If I had done it right the first time, I would’ve saved a lot of money.

Great product!
I purchased the brick patern of this product. It was amazingly easy to install. I applied this to a room where cigars are smoked. The walls did have smoke staining. There are products to clean this, but I chose the easy route and used a product that seals and prevents bleed-through. I used a product called Guardz. Two coats of this is better than trying to wash walls. I also used a heavy rubber roller to ensure the panels are seated. Prep is the key to using this adhesive panels. The overall results were great. The job was well worth the effort. I am considering buying more to cover another wall.Update:I decided to extend my project to an adjoining wall. I ordered two more boxes of panels wich arrived quickly. Upon opening one box, I noticed that the brick pattern was highly faded. This was not going to work with the existing product I have just used. The second box was identical to what I original used and worked out great. I decided to not use any of the faded box and returned it.My point here is…this is a great product and works fine. I am totally pleased with the purchase. Be aware, if you are planning a project, buy additional material so you are more likely to get enough from the same production run or lot number. I think that’s what may have happened with one of the second order boxes I recieved.

Bad quality
This is made of styrofoam and is very poor quality. May have still used it but the panels were not even colored properly, edges of the bricks were left white and the package came partially opened. Have never gone through the trouble of returning an item but these were so bad I am returning.

So freaking fun!!!! Definitely purchase and play!
This is thee most instant fun I’ve had in years! I took a small useless area and created an entirely gorgeous wow spot! Plus it was easy, didn’t take long at all and when I was done I did a walk through wondering where else I could “brick”. Could become an ongoing adventure!

Ordered the 20 pack to cover a wall prior to installing a shelving unit. Was going to cut the half bricks to blend the joins in a bit better, but decided against it as it was mostly going to be covered, and the extra time added wasn’t worth it.So in the end I just peeled them off and slapped them on the wall, and as luck would have it, I only needed to trim one end, as the height worked out near perfectly.Used a roller to get a good seal against wall after reading reviews saying they may peel. Left for 3 days and for a few hot/cold cycles to see if I needed to add any glue, but they’ve been perfect.Very pleased with the result and quality of the tiles.

I made a wizards tower for a fair I went to and it adhered to the card board really well, and I could still move it to advise for the first 10 minutes before I rolled it with a roller to really get it pressed in place. This went on flat and then I cut the cardboard pieces. I was really worried it would lift off however it will stay stuck once you stick it and press it. Just make sure you give it time to adhear really well. I’ve had it for a month now in this state and there is no peeling. My one recomendation is when placing them to cut the lip off the edge where it’s connecting to on the SIDE to give a more seamless look.

We love the look of these panels, but unfortunately, even after pressing them against the wall thoroughly, they were continually peeling away at the edges. We had to nail them down in the end.
