Awesome solar lights for perimeter of a house!
Need some motion-activated light when you step outside of your house at night? BOOM, these Aootek Solar lights have got you covered! The solar lights install super easily with 2 screws into most surfaces and in some cases they can be installed with some heavy duty outdoor molding tape, which is how I have these installed around my patio. They can be set to different modes but for my use, I prefer that they are motion activated and turn on full brightness when motion sets them off.I have these lights installed all around the perimeter of my house and shed just to make it easier to see when I need to walk around outside at night. The lights are set in Mode 3 (Motion-Sensing Mode) where they turn on max brightness when motion is detected and stay on for 15 seconds after that. The motion sensors work well and pick up movement easily. The light output is pretty great and the added LEDs on the sides of the lights help disperse the light in a wide pattern for more visibility.Whether I am taking out the trash or going outside to my shed at night, I have the convenience of motion-activated light to see what I am doing. Bright! Pig deterrence approved!
These are actually a Really Good Deal for the price! They provide very bright White light on 3 sides, with a very sensitive PIR motion detector. I got them to scare away wild pigs, and so far none have torn up my yard any more (they may have moved on.) I arranged 3 on a pole (with zip ties) to cover 360°, about 2ft off the ground. Testing them at night, they activate from over 30ft (with the PIR at 90° to the ground) and fire sequentially as I walk around the pole. A quality surveillance camera over 60ft away registers the lights as a blinding white spot about 6ft in diameter – they are Bright! Which is just the ticket to scare away the pigs we have here – I’ve heard!

Bright, solar charged motion lights!
I wanted a new light @ my Mom’s house for outside above the garage door that goes into the house. I wanted a motion detected light so when I get home & getting into the house @ night it would light up to help me see my way. I also wanted a couple to put out in her back yard around the deck for when she lets her dog out. Rumor has it that there has been a bobcat seen in the neighborhood & these work great so far!They’re light weight & come with screws to help mount them. I actually wished I had used nails instead so they would be easier to remove to change the settings if needed. There are 3 settings that you can set them too & I went with setting C that has them go on when motion is detected & shuts off in about 15 seconds. I do wish that they stayed on a little bit longer. Also in the directions it mentions that you can charge them but I never found a hole to plug a cord into to charge them nor did they come with a charging cord. The backs have a cover that has a bunch of screws which seems like a pain in the butt to remove if needed. The button that you pushed to change the settings is behind them in a little cove which you can’t get to once they’re mounted with the screws. They’re solar so make sure that they are put in places that sun will hit them to charge them.Overall it was a great deal for the price. Let’s hope they last a very long time & we won’t need to change the setting. I love the brightness to them & how sensitive they are to motion.

Compré dos productos, y este salió mejor. Es más brillante que los otros reflectores, aunque los otros reflectores se ven más grandes. La marca de los otros reflectores que compré es Loneasy. Venían 2 reflectores en el paquete.Estos reflectores salieron muy bien. Alumbran hasta el otro lado de la calle. El video que hice fue de día, pero de noche se ven muy bien. No quise hacer el video de noche, porque en ocasiones no se alcanza a apreciar bien que tan fuerte es la luz. Pero felicidades a esta marca de Aootek (creo que así se llama) Ahora… a esperar para ver que tanto duran estos reflectores.
