It’s heavy, but it’s also a rockstar
I love this thing. It’s plenty strong enough to provide excellent power for a variety of devices. Too many of these sorts of things are underpowered on the USB outputs, or lack surge protection. This guy puts out max power – 67W on a single USB-C, which is outstanding, 12W on a single USB-A, which is also outstanding, and allocates very intelligently when multiple things are plugged in. Add in 3 full-strength 120V outlets on the back, plus Anker’s reputation for high-quality products, and this is a five-star product for sure.They’ve even kindly used a right-angle wall plug so that it can fit flush. The product talks about surge protection but you have to dig a bit to find that it’s 300J, which is minimal, but that’s ok, the risk is low and I don’t have real expensive stuff plugged into it. Just remember that you’re always going to get the most power out of a AC block on the back, so if you can, utilize those before doubling-up on USB ports on the front.Note that this is a heavy item. Over one pound, with a long cable. I find it perfect for my desk, and perfect for traveling, but it is a bummer to allocate more than a pound of expensive checked luggage space to this extension. I still travel with it, however, because we’ve all found ourselves in hotel rooms where the outlets are inconvenient, and in those cases, I’m glad to have it.My first purchase of the Anker 525 came defective less than a year after purchase. USB power output on the front stopped working. It sounds like this was a known issue. Anker happily shipped me a new one for free, and it is powering onward just fine.

Rock solid charging station
Anker is my go-to brand. Love them. This charging station is no exception to the rule. It’s cleanly designed and has the perfect weight to sit on your desk and not slide off or move around. having full size A/C ports on the back of it is a really nice design and helps with cable management. Overall a solid buy.

Worked Great for Three Months, Then Stopped! But Anker Replaced the Unit
I have purchased two of these chargers. The first one, which I purchased a few years ago, works fine. My newer one, which I purchased in February 2025, stopped charging in May 2025 in all of the ports. My devices, IPhone, IPads and Apple Watch, show the charging symbol but they don’t charge. When I utilize the same cord with a different charger, they charge fine so it’s not my device or my cords. I’m disappointed with the quality of the product. That being said, the reviews are overwhelmingly positive so I may give Anker another chance.Addendum: As a result of my review above, Anker Customer Service reached out to me and provided me with a replacement unit. I was thoroughly impressed with their service and followup. I changed my review from one star to four stars based on the customer service..

I got this charging station because I was sick of having multiple wall chargers hogging up all that space. Overall I think this little thing is pretty neat. I got my 2 USB C ports for anything that needs fast charging and 2 more USB A ports for slower charging devices. I’m only using one outlet on the back for power to my main monitor and it’s doing fine.Currently can’t say anything about longevity or surge protection, as I just got the item and I don’t have voltage testing equipment.Also if you’re wondering how much space it takes up, it’s shorter and thinner than a Galaxy S22, but about 3.5 times as tall.5/5 stars for my use case.

It’s great product and I like the reliability of Anker to be honest. I don’t like having multiple charger adapter I have to plug into wall and it solves tha problem. We have been using it for 6 months and no complaints. The price is little high so wait for discounts and you can get it for little cheaper.
