What a nice bang for the buck
I have an obsession with purchasing wireless security cameras and have purchased many. Always the most important thing to me is the Wifi connection. All the bells and whistles mean nothing if connecting is a problem.Anyway, so far, this Infiya K7 cam is more than worth its cost (as these type of cameras go) and you get two cameras for essentially the price of one. Though I have set up many of these cameras, I still hold my breath upon setting up because you never know what you’re going to encounter. That being said … this setup was a breeze. All I did was choose the first setup option which was putting their barcode on my iphone in front of the camera. That’s it. Literally within seconds a voice prompt told me that I was connected to my network. It was one of the fastest setups I ever did.Now the camera itself. Importantly, the picture is clear (see both daytime and nighttime snapshots inside my rec room that I included). I love the intelligent tracking feature, as it can follow, view live and record my two dogs making their way around the room. And I like that I receive an alert (a basic feature) fairly quickly. I have no complaints as it comes with a 10-second real-time video of the motion, listed on a timeline. A paid subscription to the cloud service is available, which would include longer videos. To avoid a paid subscription, it also includes a slot for a micro SD card (card NOT included).Also, I haven’t had reason to use it regularly yet, but a cool new feature works quite well. It’s the One-Tap call feature. Simply, anyone at the camera can ‘tap’ the telephone icon button on the camera, and it rings the app on your cell phone. That is, the camera is calling the cell phone for two people to connect and communicate face-to-face. What a neat feature.Of course, any audio sound is crisp, and it’s all Alexa and Google home compatible. And one more thing … the 355° pan/tilt feature is fantastic. While some cams are limited in its pan and tilt, this isn’t one of them. This Infiya cam is a very solid tool to add to your security arsenal.

The cameras work with the Wansview app that I use for all my cameras.I ordered two cameras.There are several features that make these cameras very likeable.Very easy to set up, as the cameras actually talk to you and confirm what you are doing during setup.Once installed, you have options that I like to use.I can set notifications to anything that moves and alert me or detect people.I also really like the follow you and track, it is called “Intelligent Tracking”Once you’re spotted, the camera follows your moves, and you are the focus and will be recorded no matter what you do. You can enable this feature.The cameras work in the dark.You can install a micro SD in the camera to have local recordings that you can look at anytime without paying a subscription. The cloud service works great and is reliable. If you do the free version you get a few seconds of video recorded on the cloud vs full recordings. I also always put large SD cards in my cameras as well as subscribe to the cloud. I have mine set to real sensitivity as this is an inside camera, there is no wind blowing trees or branches to set it off falsely, only movement.I like that searching the recorded video is shown on a timeline and easy to locate.There is a really nice new feature to me. On the front of the camera, there is a button to press to call.Once you press this button, your phone app will show a call coming in. You answer it, and it’s the person at the camera calling you and you’re face to face. There is sound that is clearly heard when the camera is calling your app. I like that the application on your phone can move via the camera console, as it can be moved while live where you want to focus at. The cameras each come with a mounting bracket, a power supply and instructions. I am very happy with these indoor cameras as it was very easy to connect each camera to my network, very easy to mount my cameras and the quality of the picture is outstanding. Since this is compatible with Alexa I can watch my cameras using my Alexa fire TV, my show, and of course wansview app has a PC version so on my pc I can open up the app an see any camera on my pc as I do on my phone. I recommend these cameras as they allow me to monitor my dog when I am not at home as well as having security inside anywhere I want it. The sound is great when listening and talking to the person on the camera when using it to communicate in real time. There is a smart detection that will detect a person if it sees them, and you get notified.
