Love this cute little goose!
While my preference for this type of thing tends to run more toward gnomes, I have to say that as soon as I saw this, I decided I needed to have it for my deck. I’m so happy I made that decision, not only to add a bit of diversity to my outdoor decor but because it’s pretty darned cute.It comes securely packed in a styrofoam form with its lantern detached and in a separate pocket. It is easy to attach. It really is well done. The feather work on both the goose and the gosling are really detailed. It’s fairly heavy for its size and well constructed. The rechargeable battery is contained inside–so no need to buy rechargeables–with the small solar panel and on/off button on the exterior. The weather was pretty nasty when it arrived so it’s safely sitting on a console table in front of one of my windows. With the filtered light coming through sheer curtains, the lantern comes on at dusk and stays on for approximately 6 hours at this time. That may improve once it’s placed outside on my deck and gets more intense light during longer days. Although it’s a bit small for the thick foliage in my flowerbeds, the size is perfect for my deck coffee table or top railing.I think the price is pretty fair for what you get in this cute package, as a gift for yourself or for a friend/loved one.

A whimsical piece for your home or garden!
Adorable. A nice addition to a garden, lawn or anywhere really. The construction is solid. It’s not hollow, has a bit of heft to it and is nicely constructed. This isn’t something that will fall apart. The detail is sharp. The individual feathers on the duck stand out and I appreciate the bright color of it’s beak! I feel very confident this will be in my yard for years to come. The size and heft is perfect for a door stop as well. This is a solar light however, am giving it 4 stars because the light only works periodically.

Great decoration for anyone’s garden!
A very cute decoration for anyone’s garden! The goose is well made and very nicely finished. I expect this to last more than a couple years outside. The light is bright but not too bright to make it look like a parking lot. It looks very nice in my garden. I think this is as good as it gets for the money. If you are looking for garden decorations I recommend you buy this guy and maybe a couple yard gnomes.

Cute and well detailed
This statue is nicely weighted for its size, which is a good size, but a bit smaller than the big porch goose you see lately, which is just fine with me. It’s a hard, solid resin and all the details are formed and not just drawn on. The paint is clear and done well. It’s very cute with mama and baby, and the little solar lantern works right out of the box and has a decent amount of light to it. I like that the solar panel is hidden so well in the lantern that you have to look for it. The lantern is the only part that is solar, so it’s very cute even without the lantern. I think that the price is average among competitors right now, especially with the coupon. This is cute, a nice size, well detailed and painted, and comes in a formed Styrofoam packaging that makes it protected and easy to store off season. This is nice and would also make a great gift. Cute and Welcoming!
This solar lawn ornament is on our front stoop welcoming visitors–okay, mostly delivery service employees and they come during the day. Still, it’s a nice size. Unlike many of our other lawn ornaments, the solar lantern gathers light from all directions. It is quite bright and stays lit a long time.Well, actually not sure how long. As I’m writing this review in late May, the lantern comes on about 7 p.m. and still is on when we turn in between 10:30 and 11:30, definitely the longest of any of our other lawn ornaments that have directional solar panels.

Except A Gosling Doesn’t Look Like That
The momma looks a little annoyed. Probably from carrying around a lantern in her beak. The baby is thinking what the heck is that, doesn’t look like breakfast. We usually just ditch the hanging lights and place the statues on their own.At a foot tall this one really stands out in the garden. Brightly painted, particularly the base, with a fair amount of detail. Very stable set on a paving stone. We put it near a water feature so a very nice addition to our menagerie.
