Sturdy and easy to assemble
I bought this desk to improve my home office space. It was easy to assemble. I didn’t note specifically how long it took to put together, but I would say it was around an hour, maybe an hour and a half. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I put it together myself without assistance. The top is two pieces, so there is a seam that runs through it but that is not a concern for me. I love being able to switch between sitting and standing now! The desk functions very smoothly when raising/lowering. It is not loud. I’ve used a standing desk at a previous employer, so it was a high quality one, and I would say it made about the same amount of noise when changing the height. It feels sturdy. I also purchased monitor arms to raise my monitors off my desk and there is very little movement when changing the desk position, mostly noted when it first gets started. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

Absolutely everything I wanted from a desk at this price point, but…
The desk is great. But I’m not here to talk about that.I’m here to talk about the packaging. A week after receiving the shipment, assemlbing the desk (which I am very pleased with all around), and using it every day since, I still can’t stop thinking about how amazing the packaging was. Remember those cannisters from the movie The Rock that were filled with the highly toxic and very fragile green balls of death? If for some reason I had to ship one of those things, I would be contacting ErGear to figure out how to do it. I have experience in engineering, and I work in manufacturing – and I can undoubtedly say that this packaging was designed by a team of packaging engineers. Every cubic inch of space in the box was used to its utmost potential. When you first receive the box, you notice that the outside corners are reinforced to protect from shipping damage. Upon opening the box, you’ll notice that each component is enshrouded in custom cut sheets of soft shock absorbing foam. Nothing moves around, and everything is extremely well protected. When you pull out the pieces to the desk top itself – which appear to be a veneered pressboard (and I expected that, but these appear to be great quality) – not only are they secured tightly together and separated with more foam sheets to prevent scratching, the corners of the wood pieces are further reinforced with protectors. But these protective corners aren’t just some cheap corrugated cardboard corners that really only serve to give you a little extra peace of mind – oh no – they are 1/8″ ribbed rubber! They are so nice, that I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them, but they could be repurposed for so many other things. I also saved a single corrugated sheet of cardboard that was used as a spacer/protector because it’s so high quality. That one piece of cardboard alone cost over $1 – which is a lot in the manufacturing world. All the other packaging components appear to be readily recycblable as well. When you consider the price point of this desk, and you take into account that the packaging alone costs the manufacturer probably around $15, the value for this purchase becomes even more impressive, particularly given that what you received arrives as if it was fresh off the assembling line (so to speak).A few folks have left negative reviews here and there about certain components arriving damaged. Look, nothing is perfect, even with this level of packaging. It’s the nature of the beast when you’re getting single items shipped directly to your door. It’ll happen from time to time, and I’m sorry you drew the short straw. Not having been in touch with ErGear myself, I nonetheless have no doubt in my mind that they happily replaced your purchase with a new one – no one goes through this amount of effort to ensure you receive a pristine shipment, only to turn around with subpar customer service and deny you support. It is very clear that ErGear WANTS you to be happy. And for my part, I very much am.Back to the desk. The assembly instructions are excellent. IKEA can certainly learn a thing or two from whoever put this together. The asembly itself was simple and, dare I say it, even a little fun. Again, the engineer in me also appreciates the thoughtfullness of design choices when it comes to how each component is assembled. They really did an excellent job here. The manufacturing of each component was also done with some impressively tight tolerances (given the price point), and so everything lines up perfectly and fits like a glove. Fully assembled, the desk is wonderful. I love this thing. It’s everything that was advertised and more. They’ve even given thought to cable management. The desk raises and lowers smoothly and quietly, and I have no doubt that I will be enjoying it for years to come.A few last comments about some other negative reviews. You broke your keyboard tray? That’s… kinda your fault. The desk wobbles *very* slightly when it’s raised all the way up? This is standard stuff when it comes to knowing what you’re getting yourself into. Buyer beware and all that. I paid under $200 for a desk that FAR exceeded my expectations. It’s not a 250 lb behemoth made of solid oak that will last me a lifetime. Know what you’re getting yourself into, and treat it accordingly. If you use the desk as a normal desk and don’t *misuse* it, you will be very satisfied with your purchase.Highly recommended. Bravo ErGear. You have made a new raving fan out of me.

Thoughtful assembly process! Its a buy!
Right out the gate, manufacturer got the assembly process so precise that it was a piece of cake. The way it was packaged, they were kind enough to go from top of the box to the bottom in a precise order.Awesome: material is solid, motor is very quiet, the size i bought was perfect, the height adjustments superb, black color tone was matte, hooks on each side thoughtful.Bogus: when in full height it is wobbly, I regret getting the under table keyboard bcz in full height when you punch the keyboard the table shakes, sitting height no shake, wish they had option for basket under the table to place the surge protector, make it more sturdy when in full height (recommend longer base).Its more like a 4.5, I recommend buy. I like the price, very competitive. It is a solid product.

Great for a small office
I’ve been using this desk for close to a year now and it’s been perfect for my needs. It was easy for me to assemble on my own and the mechanics that raise and lower the desk have worked great from day one. It was easy to set the levels so I can easily change from sitting to standing. I do recommend a light to illuminate the keyboard tray if you don’t have a back lit keyboard. Small rechargeable LED lights with magnets have done the trick for me. I highly recommend this desk for a small office!

Just what I needed
I bought this when I starting working from home, been using it for about 1.5 years. It does exactly what I need, allowing me to stand up when I get tired of sitting and sit back down easily, no issues with the motor or settings. I when with a bigger one so I could spread things out and have plenty of space, I probably could have bone a little smaller, in hindsight.

Great product
Replaced my old desk with a sit/stand because most desks are slightly too tall for me and this way I can get it to the perfect height. Shipping package was the best i have seen. I was very impressed. Assembly was easy. The only thing I would change is having another stop in the keyboard tray behind where the mouse goes. My mouse has fallen out the back of the tray several times. It doesn’t have to be part of the tray, maybe something that could slip onto the back of the tray if needed.

This is a well-made product and is quite sturdy. It holds a large monitor screen, laptop, speakers, and a keyboard with room to spare. It was easy to put together and is aesthetically pleasing. The price is extremely fair considering the stability and adjustable heights. My tall husband was well pleased with the gift.

Excellente table, très beau rendu. Rien a redire sur l’épaisseur, je ne suis pas censé assoir mes 107 Kg dessus.La motorisation fonctionne bien et je m’en sers presque tous les jours. Aucune faiblesse. La longueur est largement suffisante pour y loger des enceintes de bibliothèque. Le montage a été assez violent car il faut un tournevis cruciforme bien taillé et une main bien ferme pour loger les vis dans l’agglo bien serré.La tablette coulissante plus large que les autres modèles et donc rare, est exactement ce qu’il me fallait, je peux loger un grand clavier à côté de la souris qui a de la place. C’est cette spécificité que je cherchais. Ca coulisse bien et est très stable.Produit recommandé.

Tengo una flexispot y compre esta como regalo para mi esposa, pocas cosas que envidiar de la flexispotEs cierto que1. El motor es menos potente y tarda entre 2 a 3 segundos más en llegar a su limite de altura2. Soporta menos peso (pero tampoco es que voy a subirme encima del escritorio y jugar), para subir los dos monitores y laptop va sobradaSi tuviera que elegir nuevamente para mí, sin dudas compraría esta mesa y no optaría por la Flexispot que es mejor, pero realmente me da lo mismo que esta maravillosa mesa por un mejor precio.

Der Tisch ist in einer transportsicheren Verpackung eingetroffen, das verwendete Füllmaterial war passgenau bemessen Die beiliegende Anleitung ist sehr gut und der Aufbau gelingt zügig. Das Gestell ist außerordentlich stabil. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist das verwendete “Holz”, diese ist zu dünn und weich für den Einsatz aber durchaus gerechtfertigt. Der Motor lässt sich leise genau einstellen.
